Called in after a days walking in North Wales, spotted it and decided it give it a try. Got two small fish and chips for just under £10, perfectly sized , perfectly cooked and got really friendly service. Well worth a visit !!!!
We dont get to this chippy very often but always had great fish and scampy but this time Friday night had large chips 2 cod and curry. Well what a let down I never had chewy batter and I think they must have sliced the...cod to make it go futher it was so thin we could hardly see it . The curry was this think gluey dark gulp. Chips nothing to write home about.More
Love this plaice. Sweet curry is the best curry in the world. When I think of chip shop curry that’s how I imagine it tasting.
We come here occasionally. We had fish and chips last time. With curry of course. Best we’ve had for a...long time.
See you next time.More
Visited on Saturday tea time. Our first takeaway since lockdown started. Took our tea up to Llyn Gerionedd.
The large portion of chips were fine, however the two standard fish were not up to much at all, quite disappointing.
Came here as it was the nearest fish and chip shop we could find. We arrived at around 6-7ish and there was nothing in the counter apart from one fish cake and some very burnt dry sausages. We ordered fish and chips with peas and...a portion of chips, cheese, sausage and gravy. We waited and presumed they were being cooked fresh in the back. Decent value for money, service was average but one girl didn't look like she wanted to be there. When we got them to eat the peas and gravy were served in separate pots which was good. The fish was fresh and had chunky white parts which were tasty. But the chips were soggy and didn't taste great. Also the sausage was very dry and seemed like it had been there all day. Wouldn't return.More
