Stopped in for tea & cake one Tuesday afternoon. Place was packed with tourists from America, Japan etc. but we were soon found a table and enjoyed our afternoon treat. Like stepping back in time, low beams ans lovely cottage decor. Very relaxing and a pleasant place to be.

My wife and I were introduced to the local version of Welsh Rabbit during lunch here and it was wonderful. The vine covered building, by a stone bridge next to a river gave it a special almost magic feeling.

We have been coming here for years as a family of between 3 and 5 depending on grandparents. this time we introduced my girlfriend and we all loved it. The food is amazing, yes sure the prices are high but it's what you expect for high quality food, and a large quantity of it too. It was my granddad 80th... More

Lovely homemade cakes, tea and coffee etc. Very pleasant staff and a fascinating place to visit too.Do call in an d prices are... More

We stopped here on our walk around Llanrwst , had a sandwich for lunch which was ok, but nothing special. It was served with a piece of iceberg lettuce, Half a tomato, cucumber slice and grated carrot. The view however was excellent and the building well worth a look round upstairs. They had some lovely art for sale.

So after a long walk we wanted a light bite and pot of tea... the setting looked lovely but I'm sorry £8 for a sandwich! We went over the bridge into the square to cafe contessa for a really good valued high quality food.

Ty Hwnt I’r Bont is a quaint, homely tea room in a 15th century court house on the banks of the River Conway by the Inigo Jones Bridge, which prides itself on home cooking. It was one of my favourite spots in North Wales, and we were looking forward to revisiting it However, we were bitterly disappointed. There was a... More
