Decided on a Saturday night delivery and we weren’t disappointed. A vindaloo full of flavour and a delicious korma. We will order again. Thank you very much.
This is our go to takeaway on a Friday - decisions , freshly prepared food. Can't wait for the restaurant to reopen
First time we had food from here, it was Excellent ! Full of flavour, fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Can't single out a single item which was better than another as it was all so nice. Best Indian food we've had for a very...long time. Would definitely recommend Star Anise 100% 👍More
Good afternoon, great!! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Many Thanks. 😁
Well tonight we decided to eat locally and oh we’re so glad we did!!! This Indian restaurant served us with the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted. Starter was onion bhaji, it was flavoursome with a hint of spice that left a warm sensation at...the back of your throat, the accompanying salad was aromatic and very enjoyable. Main was our usual choice of chicken tikka massala and was So full of meat. We opted for a side dish of mushrooms bhaji which we had not had before and they were delicious (will definitely have those again). As like other restaurants the drinks did make it a little expensive. For a new business in Brampton it deserves a bit of support especially in these uncertain times. All in all thoroughly enjoyable night, compliments to the chef and all the staffMore
Thank you very much for your support Sue, we looking forward to see you again 👍
What a stunning addition to Brampton. Very cosy restaurant with friendly helpful staff. The menu was wide ranging with the usual dishes and a great choice of Specials for something a bit different. The service was fast and the food was freshly cooked and piping...hot and was absolutely mouth watering. It was our first visit and we will definitely be coming back soon. Karam is a delightful host. Thank you 😊More
Thank you!!! Looking forward to see you again😁
We often visit Brampton as we have family here so we decided to treat ourselves to the newest curry place in town. For the price the our food, we expected very good quality food so we put our order in over the phone. The lady...on the phone sounded very inexperienced and it took far too long to place an order however we were advised 45 minutes for collection and patiently waited. 45 minutes passed and when we arrived we were advised food will be ready soon. 30 minutes later, we were told that we were next for our food. Another 20 minutes passed, they finally ‘finished making the nan bread’ and we got our food. We brought it home and was given extra rice and onion bhajis for the inconvenience however we noticed straight away they had got one item wrong and we were missing a curry. We called up and they were happy to make a new one which we went and picked up quickly (within 10 mins(?)) Put aside the poor service and wait time, the food was probably one of the NICEST Indians we have ever had! It was not greasy at all and every dish was very tasty and full of flavour. Worth every penny. We will definitely order from there again on our next visit however we will be placing our order several hours in advance to prepare for the ridiculous wait time! Thank you 😌More
Good evening, I’m very sorry for your experience at our restaurant. Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated. Weekends is our busiest time and lady on the phone just started that day, hope you understand. I explained your complaint to my staff and it will...More
Had a couple of meals now and mildly disappointed both times. Small portions and high prices could be overlooked if the quality were better. Such an extensive menu for a small operation is naive at best. Even when you are promised '1/2 chicken' it isn't....Had the Bindhi Bhaji on both occasions, one overcooked and one under - is it so hard? Worlds smallest naan breads but well presented. The Waterloo 10 miles away is so much better, unpretentious, correctly priced (perhaps too cheap) and more flavoursome.More
Hello, that’s little bit unfair...all our customers is very happy with our food . All the best , enjoy microwave food 🤣
Really, really good take-away food. I always like to try Indian restaurant's own dishes rather than the "Standard" dishes. My Lamb Tawa really didn't disappoint: it was excellent, quite hot but really deep flavours (I'd love the recipie). My wife's prawn passanda and daughter's Korma...where similarly excellent. The samosas and popadoms were clearly freshly made and crisp rather than greasy. I'd say we'll be back, but at over 200 miles from home it might get bit cold. However, the food was truly excellent and I wish Star Anise every success in these difficult times. If we come back to the area for another visit we will definitely order from here again.More
Thank you very much for your support 👍
Just had one of the best currys I have ever had. Beautiful flavours some very interesting dishes and my daughter's Chicken Korma was excellent as well. A real treat.
