My wife and I visited on two occasions over the weekend firstly for a drink on Saturday accompanied by our dog and we returned on Sunday for the nicest roast beef I have ever tasted. Lovely pub and superb staff, quirky Gents toilets too!

We visited the Black Swan Inn, and thought it was fab! Lovely and cosy with open fires and quirky decor, along with real ales and very tasty and reasonably priced food. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and it had a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Very good food and dog friendly. It does get very busy in the evenings so it is advisable to book if you are going to eat.

Good food, good beer, friendly, nice décor. The Gents bog is "different" and worth a visit! Do try the 3 x 1/3 pint ale sampler.
