First came here thirty years ago when it was a bit different. Now - excellent beer. Food good too - well cooked and fairly priced. Room was good too. It's not fancy and it's an old building so the floor isn't level and it creaks....More

Enviable position above rosedale- views from the terrace are just wonderful. Very relaxing. Very calming. Efficient and friendly owners/staff. Traditional decor and traditional pub menu. Food is home cooked In style and tastes great ! All reasonably priced. Dogs welcome in Bar area.

Unless there has been a change in the last six weeks, it's the same chef. The staff don't seem to alter much - same bar staff and waiters as last year. Hope this helps.
