Very friendly staff with a good choice of menu and good food. Conveniently located in the town centre. We had the bonus of watching the chef throwing pizza dough in the air when making pizzas. Great to hear the staff talking in Italian so you...More

We had dinner at La Ciociara this evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious (we had pizza and pasta) and the wine was incredible! Possible one of the best red wines we’ve had in a restaurant! The whole team were lovely, very friendly...More

Works night out for Christmas and my first visit. Not a great experience sadly. I ordered pasta arrabbiata, which I grudge ordering at the best of times as you can cook at home for pennies 😡 anyway, it arrived, looked and smelled delicious. Unfortunately unless...More

The pastas and pizza are always good here, and he desserts are amazing. From the outside the place doesn't look promising, but once you're up in the restaurant itself it's a different story - checked tablecloths, bright decor, attentive service. We ate there with friends,...More

Visited here for the first time with my 2 children for an early dinner. It was quiet when we arrived but there were people queuing for tables when we left. Speaks volumes about the popularity of the place. The food was excellent...lots of it too....More

A very ordinary Italian restaurant like so many in the UK or US: chianti wine bottle candles on paper table cloths; a menu of usual items; service polite but perfunctory; food OK. Damn with faint praise, I suppose.
