A great way to relax before boarding a flight. There is literally nothing they haven't considered. We took advantage of the breakfast menu. Table service was provided. Staff were very attentive and ensured that we wanted for nothing. Decor is relaxing and a little funky....More

You don’t have to be flying Upper Class to get access to the lounge, for instance it could have been a Virgin credit card reward. Gatwick is a lovely lounge. Doubt you will get an upgrade but don’t worry about that. Just enjoy the lounge. You aren’t paying for anything in there, so make full use of it and enjoy a selection of meals personally cooked for you, drinks of all descriptions and as much as you’d like, all served personally to you wherever you choose to sit. You are also entitled to a 15 minute free head & foot massage, take it. It is so relaxing. If you’d like more you pay, and rightly so. Just a thought, but Virgin might allow you to use the day/night before check in facilities they have at Gatwick. Do ask. If so spoil yourselves. Hilton have a hotel in the airport. Check in the night before, stay at the Hilton (earning airmiles) then spend the entire following day being pampered in the lounge before your flight. Make sure to have your breakfast with Virgin and not at the hotel. The lounge staff at Gatwick are superb and will explain all on your arrival. It’s our favourite airport and lounge. If you go for the Hilton deal, just a little cheat for you, pay for an executive room and you get all free (good quality) alcohol and food in the executive lounge in their hotel. So no airport food prices the night before your flight.we save a fortune doing that.
