Just come from the buccanneer tenby 28/03/17 540pm ordered hake and chips and cajun chicken and chips with garlic bread as a side. What a huge disappointment the fish was overcooked and very greasy. The chicken was very bland not cajun spiced at all. The chips looked and tasted as tho they were refried from sometime this afternoon. The garlic... More

My husband and I had a delightful Sunday afternoon drink here on one of the sunniest days of the year so far. We sat out in the beer garden which is a hidden gem. My only negative observation was that the queues for food and drinks are one and the same and it therefore took quite a well to get... More

I chose the red snapper & hubby his obligatory huge steak. I thought mine was a chicken breast when it arrived as very similar in colour & shape. The taste was great & more of a meaty texture than flaky. Hubbys steak was good. Chips were barely warm & we didn't get chance to tell anyone because they didn't ask... More

We popped in last night to escape the torrential rain. By the time we had finished our drinks, the pub seemed lifeless. Maybe we just caught it on a bad night.

As a group we chose this pub because we'd been here many times before. They were very busy, but were able to seat us in the new Brewery area and all was good. 3 of our group of 5 ordered the Sunday roast (all beef) and all enjoyed it. The other two of us ordered Lamb Shank (me) and the... More

Our first night in Tenby for a weekend. We decided to try the Buccaneer as there were lots of people eating. I chose a chicken Balti and my partner had fish and chips. My curry tasted like it came out of a microwave bag and had far too much rice for the curry sauce. My partner's chips were hard and... More

After a disappointing meal elsewhere we decided to try somewhere in the town centre, The buccaneer. I had the real fish pie, it was delicious probably the best fish pie I have had, the portions were large, I couldn't even eat a sweet course although on other tables they looked great. My wife had a sirloin steak, she says it... More
