An unbelievable food experience! We loved everything that we tasted: the snack board, the trout and the tenderloin. Their version of pavlova topped it all! Price level absolutely affordable. Also wonderfully friendly service. A strong recommendation.
Ignorant service. Well advertised filet mignon was dry and "well done" although it was ordered medium rare. Do not recommend that place at all :(
We've been to Saka Cliff Restaurant twice: once in summer and once in winter and it never disappoints. The scenic drive along the narrow roads with the view of the Finnish gulf out of the window is full of anticipation. If you are not in...a hurry (trust me: you are not in this part of the country), stop by the Jagala waterfall. It’s the tallest waterfall in Estonia and is beautiful fresh or frozen. The restaurant is located the basement and includes several rooms separated by arched walls. Low ceilings and dimmed light create a relaxing and romantic ambiance. The table setting is beautiful, servers are very polite and attentive and will leave you alone to enjoy your meal. The food truly deserves an ode. You can’t go wrong with anything! We ordered a ceviche, a salad with baked goat cheese and beetroot hummus, a mushroom soup, duck with sweet potato confit, salmon, beef and liver soufflé and finished with a passion fruit cheesecake and a hot lava cake. Everything was arranged and served very creatively. If you come with children, there is a cute playroom and plenty of informal space to run around. After your meal, take some time to walk around the gardens and the trail along the sea shore. A longer walk will lead you to a small but scenic waterfall. Happy exploring!More
It was really surprising to have excellent dinner far from everywhere and at reasonable price. We really enjoyed starter chevitche (no lime but however good). Also the main courses lamb and pork were excellent.
The restaurant, located in the basement of the manor's main building, made a very nice impression. The service providers were very friendly communicators and take care of it. I ordered a medium done steak and my husband ordered pork. Both were very tasty, and the...additives were very successful. The steak was very juicy and soft, with good taste to the wines, and the vegetables are pleasantly crunchy. Desserts were also very good, my choice of sorbet was very fresh and made of genuine berries. The price / quality ratio was very good, I praise the cook and the service!More
Food was good, had chicken liver in cognac for appetizer and it was really lovely, main course - good, dessert - chocklate fondant with icecream again ... was melting in the mouth. Nice experience!
I was eating here one year ago, the place mantain the very good standard that was in my memories, high standard cuisine at reasonable prices. Cozy, lovely place, if you drive by, one stop is recomended.
This was the place for our family dinner on a Saturday. Of course I had been there before several years back and then at least once some ten years ago. The food is still quality and same with the service, just as I remembered. Among...all the dishes we had I'd like to bring up their excellent steak tartare, followed by a main course of beef, which was prepared precisely as I requested. Medium. It was succulent and I am happy to say that it pleased my taste buds. After the main course we had a platter of snacks. Have you ever wondered what smoked Hungarian pork fat dipped into honey tastes like? I don't have to wonder about that anymore and I would like to eat it again. However i am giving this 4 out of 5 overall and the reason is that after entering I was welcomed by foul smells of what I thought came from the toilets. Well it certainly did not come from the men's toilet. I looked. Fortunately the smell was confined there and was nowhere near the dining area. I would visit again in a heartbeat just because of the high quality of their dishes.More
First, we were not hungry at arriving, so we were potentially "picky" customers. But we were blown by quality and consistency of food. We shared food as we always do and every meal we tasted was exceptionally good. Boeuf a'la tartare my favorite! And don't...miss desserts! Thank you so much for this enjoyable evening!More
Whilst the menu choice is fairly limited the quality of the food is excellent and very good value. An English menu was available and much appreciated the service was really very good. I would certainly recommend it if you want great food in a pleasant...surrounding.More
We have a dinner at restaurant, waitress was perfect. She was attentive and polite, explained everything and even tried to speak to us in Russian. We have ordered the duck, fried goat cheese (it was so nice) and dessert was chocolate foundante with ice cream....They have around 80 places for weddings and any other party. I recommend to everybody, who even not stayed at hotel, to have a dinner at this lovely place.More
We had the pasta and fish soup for starters+ duck & chicken for main course + chocolate fondant for desert. WE LOVED IT!!!!! Don't miss it.
Unespected fantastic dinner, all dishes were great, service excellent, atmosphere of another time all settled in a super place, I wish to go back to try some more of what they propose!
We had corn-fed chicken and it was delicious. The service was nice. Overall would eat there again, but would not stay overnight.
The food here is superb. The 5th time I have stayed at the hotel and eaten in the manor restaurant. I really don't understand why the restaurant is always so quiet.
