Not sure if the Vintage tea room and tiffin tea room are the same; the address is the same on TripAdvisor. Photos dated 2016 against this listing have NO resemblance to today's menu. Branding was confusing as each menu seemed to have a different tea...More

An excellent place for afternoon tea. Great food etc but remarkably small so you may be lucky to get a table. Toasted sandwich from the specials menu was lovely.

I'd put this as a four star for the food and drink, but the staff take it to a five star. They are there to ensure you have the best experience possible in an easygoing, happy way. Nothing is too much trouble. If you need...More

A shock to see how many shops have closed in Castleton and also how few places there are now to have somewhere to eat. We wanted a breakfast, but couldn’t find anywhere reasonable. We settled for tea and teacakes in Tiffin’s. It was fine although...More

We stopped for lunch here and really enjoyed it. We just wanted a light lunch and the welsh rarebit (with tomatoes) and Manx rarebit (with mushrooms) just fitted the bill. Various flavours of tea are available and come in a tea pot with proper tea...More

We ordered two scones one with butter and one with jam. We declined the offer of cream as it was not proper clotted cream. We also had a pot of tea for two. For this we were charged £13.90. We were charged for cream teas...More

Called in unexpectedly for a quick snack.....It was lovely - sandwiches, soup and cakes all done by staff. Excellent service all served on bone china sets.... Nothing was too much trouble. Extremely tasty.

We visited this tea room on a trip to Castleton. It was well run and most inviting with bone China tea sets and vases of roses on every table. The ladies who run it were very friendly and we enjoyed our tea and lemon cake.

Stumbled across this tiny tea house after finishing a tour of the castle. Welcomed in by the owners even though it was almost closing. Loved the beautiful decor and the retro music. Fantastic coffee cake and scone with double cream in homemade strawberry jam made...More

Description
The afternoon ritual of serving tea has been developed to a fine art. Delicate bone china, teas, and friendly staff serving homemade cakes, scones and sandwiches. Housed down a little lane in Castletown, the Tiffin Tea Rooms positively oozes atmosphere, and the quiet and gentle music playing in the background sets a tranquil tone. An assortment of fresh food served daily, but we are closed on Sunday
