First impressions were very good. We arrived approximately 9pm and were greeted by charmingly funny doormen (everyone i met on the Island were soo friendly!) We found a table by the door straight away, which was probably the last free table for the whole evening. Three pints of lager for less than £15, apparently pricey for IOM, but cheaper than... More

think this must be one of the classier bars in Douglas, get pretty busy at times but serves a really decent selection of drinks

Usually great and nice wine selection. Our last meal was quite horrible and overpriced. Only thing that kept us in the place was to finish the wine!! Won't be going again.

Iv'e eaten at this restaurant many times and always enjoyed it. However the menu seemed lacking it's usual specials.I started with the queenies that were slightly overcooked in an overpowering sauce. Husbands french onion soup consisted of large pieces of onions in a watery syrup More sweet than a desert..He finished up eating cheese and biscuits for mains. My "corn fed"... More

As a regular visitor to the island I tend to try as many places as possible and return later if I have enjoyed the experience. The Artisan has always been a regular spot for me to return to, its modern, clean, trendy always a huge selection of beers, lagers, cocktails. Always gets busy as the night progresses gets loud and... More

a contemporary wine bar, modern layout. Gets busy so would advise booking at peak times. Very attentive staff. Modern spanish style food. Our food was tasty. Would recommend for a date type night, rather than a more relaxed romantic night.

Was over visiting family on the Island and this is usually our go to lunch spot! However after 2 visits in last 2 weeks, standard of food has dropped dramatically. Ordered duck/pork rolls, tempura prawns and sweet potato fries - beating in mind have had these dishes many times - it appeared they had gone to Iceland and bought cheapest... More

Poor food: limp salad, tasteless onion rings Dirty glasses, unfriendly staff, and overpriced. There are far better options in Douglas... my recommendation is to go to them instead. This place has potential but seems to me that they need to be more discerning and raise their standards.

This bar has a fantastic feel to it, a nice classy relaxing hideaway in Douglas. On my visit I decided to eat and had a very tasty salad with very tender chicken. There is also a great selection of lagers from around the world. I will be going again.

ok, had a lovely goats cheese 'Artisan' salad, but let's face it, a centimeter thick slice of goat's cheese and a load of leaves do not equate with a nine pound price with a few pounds more for a bowl of sweet potato fries.(so over twelve pounds for salad and fries) There was a round slice of goat's cheese, a...
