Absolutely yummy coated chips and crispy light battered fish. Even my kids ask for 'special' chips when we have a chippy treat once in a while. Lovely staff and great menu for sit down or takeaway.

We chose the Pensioners Fish and Cips. They come to your table take your order and bring you your meal. This is a must go to place if you visit Paignton, the Chips are done to perfection.

These were probably the best chips I’ve ever tasted, and the fish was really good. Staff were friendly. I would certainly eat there again.

I'd never had 'Yorkshire chips' before - where they batter them. They are fantastic. Can't comment on the rest of the fare, but everyone there (and it was busy!) looked happy. If I wanted to put on an awful lot of weight, I'd spend a...More

First off, the fish was beautiful, but the chips were awful, battered chips - we're from Yorkshire and I've never seen chips in Yorkshire that are battered like this. Far too much was very sickly.

Don't waste your money. It's disgusting. The gobby old woman that runs the place is a disgrace. Her management skills are the worst I've ever seen.
