Stayed 2 nights and dined each night, catered well for children, and portions were very generous, great value for money! Desserts were incredible!

Location best point. On Windermere lakeside in the middle of Bowness. Pricey but above average standard. This hotel has been a well known quality hotel for decades.

If you like cordon bleu cooking then you will love it. Nicely presented but not much on your plate. If you have paid for evening meal and want steak you will have to pay an additional £8 surcharge
