We back here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and wasn’t let down by the service, the staff or the ambience of the hotel. Afternoon tea was a delight in the conservatory overlooking the lake and evening meal exceptional Thank you for a wonderful stay....We will definitely be back in the future.More

Beautiful Hotel, exceptional setting, Wonderful staff Visited Storrs Hall today for afternoon tea and the welcome was wonderful. Carl looked after my family and I while we had afternoon tea and I can say it was the best we’ve ever had. He was so friendly...and professional and a credit to Storrs Hotel. The food was amazing and beautifully presented….. loved the whole experience and will definitely be visiting again, thank youMore

Thoroughly pleasant Afternoon Tea. Lovely location - pleasant and welcoming reception staff. Choice of tables to sit at - including outside at some lovely large round tables on the terrace overlooking the lake. Unfortunately as it was scorching hot we realised we were not going...to be comfortable and asked to move inside when we discovered they did not have parasols. Our waiter was great - great sense of humour and nothing seemed too much trouble. We were relocated inside - he even recommended a table with the best view. Service was smooth and the food was delicious. A great selection of sandwiches and cakes/scones. Highly recommend Afternoon Tea at Storrs Hall. I hope they get some parasols for our next visit!More

We were treated to afternoon tea by my sister to celebrate her husbands milestone birthday. The staff were very welcoming and offered us several tables inside and outside as it was a very hot day. The tea stands were amazing....a stunning assortment of sandwiches, rolls,...canapes, scones with jam and clotted cream, mini dessert and cakes. We couldn’t eat it all and they provided a box to take the uneaten items home with us. I would highly recommend.....thank you.More

We are a couple in our mid sixties, and we had a voucher bought for afternoon tea at Storrs Hall. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the menu consisted of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, cakes and a delicious fruit pot....This afternoon tea is pure quality not quantity. We really enjoyed the food and the view from our table was fantastic. One small point when our pot of tea arrived we had no milk and had to ask for some, we all make mistakes. The photo is a view from our table.More

The building is lovely, its setting is fantastic with great views of the lake, the afternoon tea however is anything but, bland with no effort to impress they should be ashamed for serving this, seemingly no pride in whats delivered, sandwiches with nothing in the them...and very few to eat, the scones not what they should be and all in all such a terrible let down, they even tried to serve it in a side room with old tables and couches not even set up for afternoon tea, thoroughly unimpressed, should you be looking for afternoon tea in the Lake District just go to Armathwaite Hall now thats how to do things correctly perhaps Storrs Hall should pay them a visit and see for themselves how afternoon tea should be served.More

Absolutely beautiful location....building...so why is the afternoon tea so poor..well the European staff that are serving have no idea of the notion of afternoon tea from me over hearing them..as they do not have it in their country...and the kitchen staff are probably similar..absolute rubbish...mediocre...sandwiches followed by macaroons... .of Italian descent..and then a pannacotta....since when has that been an ENGLISH afternoon tea......no sign of an English cake????More
