The Café is situated within the Beatrix Potter experience however visitors can use the café even if you do not partake in the actual tour. The food on offer is a good selection ranging from home made soup of the day to sandwiches and cakes. There is a good selection of cold drinks on offer and local tea and coffee.... More

OK is you are visiting the attraction, reasonably priced with baked potatoes at £6.95 with a good side salad/crisps. Coke £1.50. Quite small so can get busy. In need of refurbishment. Lovely staff

Cakes and scones to die for and a good cup of coffee and tea. Staff were very welcoming. Only down side is that the seating area is small.

This venue is good value and food is a high standard. The staff very helpful and friendly. If there was something to criticise it's the size of the room. It's quite small and so they have squeezed as many tables in as possible, so getting in and out is awkward, having to get people to move in or stand up... More

Very good cafe at the end of the Beatrix Potter Attraction (but you can also access from the street). Delicious cakes and good coffee.

After climbing the steps from the street we entered the building through here and decided on a cup of tea before seeing the exhibition. Spotting the home made scones in the display we changed our minds to a cream tea. The scones were delicious and there was lashings of jam and clotted cream for each of us. Coming from the... More

For me, you can't visit the World of Beatrix Potter without starting the visit off with a lovely cup of tea and a tray bake in the tearoom. It's a lovely start to the day and the setting is in keeping with the whole attraction. I'd recommend it.
