Great atmosphere and funny table notes on how to order drinks. Only downside is that they do not accept dogs

A good, honest and friendly pub. A nice range of drinks available (ales and spirits) and hearty pub fare (the chicken gougon starters, chilli baked potato and Lamb Henry were all delicious) all at a decent price. We were very impressed - highly recommended!

The place is always full, so don't be disappointed if you cannot get a seat. The beers are excellent and the pub food is really good

We love this pub for a drink. Never had food but the menu looks good, simple but good. Great for an ale. We always stop off here for a drink when we visit. Love sitting by the fire and playing the juke box.

The place was wonderfully decorated in olde world pub style. Very helpful bar staff. I would go again to see the deck.
