A proper pub, even though they serve great food it doesn't feel like a restaurant - as so many pubs do these days. They serve a wide range of drinks including my favourite salted caramel vodka! The staff and customers are a friendly bunch, it...More

We love this pub, we are not in holiday in the Lakes until we have first sipped real ale in the Tower Bank Arms, and then stopped at the Hole in’t Wall in Bowness for a great pint and a good pub lunch. I’d recommend...More

Was recommended this pub by a friend. We really liked it. Relaxed easy place with very good service. My wife hates pubs normally ( we live in Scotland ) but really enjoyed the Hole in T Wall. Thanks

Lovely pub and friendly, cosy atmosphere, me and my boyfriend both had a flavoured gin and lemonade and were impressed by the range of 26 different gins available. The staff were also really friendly.

I haven't visited this establishment for some years but I'm glad that it has not lost any of its character. I ordered the ploughmans for lunch. Massive, kept me going all evening. Staff were polite and helpful which is a credit to them. I hope...More
