We sat outside as the weather was beautiful and enjoyed 4 meals with quite good quick service. Inside decor was lovely and staff were very friendly.

This is an ok place to eat and reasonablely priced for Bowness. Me and my wife eat here with the kids a fair amount, staff are friendly and professional. Book on bank holiday weekends is my advice but that covers all of Bowness on Bank...More

Went here for tea last night with my partner we both got a hanging chicken kebab, was absolutely lovely we sat outside in the sun, drink was abit dear but the food was lovely, the chips were very tasty! Would deffinelty recommend

the menu is quite extensive however i have usually opted for the hanging kebab which is so filling, but great. the prices are not cheap, but has always been good on visits made, staff have always been friendly and helpful

The Village Inn is one of Bowness-on-Windermere's most popular bars, situated just seconds from the shores of Lake Windermere and is open daily from 10am until late, serving fresh, locally sourced produce, with homemade pasta dishes and creations from the grill, a speciality.
