On Saturday 15 April I visited le Gormet in Wetherby. The milk jug for the tea was filthy with a dark yellow dried sediment on the inside. Quite off putting. Will think twice before going again.

Thank you very much for your review. I am so sorry that your milk was served in a dirty jug. I was shocked when I read your review and I immediately checked all of our milk jugs. I found that two of our jugs had what you referred to as 'sediment' in them. I now realise that this is from... More

Wonderful cafe. Met a friend there for breakfast as its half way for us both to travel. We meet regularly for breakfast in wetherby and this is definitely our favourite. Food is always good, staff are friendly and we usually end up drinking tea and coffee for a couple of hours and never feel rushed. Would recommend highly for good... More

Firstly I would like to apologise for our mistake in losing your food order. When you visited on Sunday, we were extremely busy. It was the warmest day of the year so far and people were out enjoying the sunshine. When members of a coach trip arrive there is added pressure on staff because of time limits placed on passengers... More

The sandwiches... More

Friendly warm staff and great cafe food, the menu is huge for a small market town cafe and pipping hot when it came out of the kitchen. More staff than you can shake a stick at and all very helpful.

Now I'm not the easiest diner to please but this place is exceptional. A light lunch with family which really didn't disapoint. I had the brie, bacon and cranberry panini, others had the croque monsieur and the club sandwich. Each one was cooked and presented to perfection and enjoyed with a lovely big pot of tea using leaves. No it's... More
