1st visit to this chippy. No cue, walked straight in. Had a 5 minute wait to cook the cod. Just missed the rush as 5 people walked in behind me. Ordered a large cod n chips & a small cod n chips with a small curry sauce. Think it was a tad exoensive at nearly £15 but portion sizes were... More

A real quality fish n' chips which is a dime in a dozen these days, food is cooked freshly in front of you with care so any requests can be catered too. Big portions and a very reasonable price when you compare it to others in town, friendly staff and a warm welcoming atmosphere only add to an all round... More

Living in Weymouth there is no shortage of chip shops but there is of good ones. This one I have found is really good always willing to do any requests e.g I usually have lightly battered fish. Also very nice staff and good prices and big portions

Had a takeaway this evening and the cod was overcooked and dry. Freshly cooked to order too, so no excuse that it had been hanging around too long. My portion also had bones in it. This is the second time that our cod has been poorly cooked, last time it was oily and all batter with little fish. This used... More

Very disappointed as had heard good reviews. Had to ask when we would be receiving our order as had already waited 30 minutes and other customers who came in after us were receiving their orders first. Staff were rude and the food disgusting. Ordered standard cod and chips which were dripping in grease, the chips had a funny taste about... More

This Fish and Chip shop is in my opinion this is the best in Weymouth all beautifully cooked lovely crisp batter on the fish and quality chips. My personal favourite is the Haddock which takes about twenty minutes to cook so is best ordered in advance to save waiting.k

We have been before and it was very good but tonight was a big mistake, they forgot my wife's cod she ordered on the phone so had to choose something else or wait even longer and the only thing I had worth eating was a battered sausage as my pie and chips had dried out so much, my son said... My husband got me cod, chips and curry sauce. My dog and cat ate the cod as it was that bad. The chips were probably older than I am and the curry sauce was very runnie. If you want good fish and chips go to town and not Caviar Place.
