Velvet & Vanilla is a lovely little cafe, tucked away down Cooper Street, away from the noise of Bideford. They serve great food, the staff are very friendly. They are very happy to adapt what's on the menu to suit your personal needs.

We visited for a late lunch in July with our family. We had great service despite us all arriving at different times. Meals were great - interesting salads, nice large servings and my daughter just adored the soup :) Recommended.

Wow! What a fabulous place, we thoroughly enjoyed a selection of tapas and wine all of which were very reasonably priced. The owner Louise is fantastic and a very welcoming host. I can't fault this place and will definitely go back and highly recommend. Xx

Consistently delicious. Cosy & friendly independent cafe & bar, locally renowned for great tasting home-made food at reasonable prices. Open for breakfast, lunch, coffee & home-baked cakes, afternoon teas, evenings, private parties. A good range of traditional and contemporary dishes and a variety of tempting vegetarian options; sandwiches, jackets, soups, mezze & pizza etc. Fully licenced - great cocktails and sensibly selected wine list. Very child-friendly. Free wifi.
