I'm surprised at the amount that of negative comments. We have been here 4 times usually around 9am when they open and they are so busy. I have never had any problems and always found the staff happy friendly and helpful. They have the most delicious bacon rolls. I adore the shopping avaliable and have just got sorted for Christmas... We were the only people there when we arrived and so were able to hunt through bargains uninterrupted. There is a cafe onsite, but we didn't use it.

Anyone looking to buy items in the retail section of this woollen mill l have no problem with that. As for the Coffee/Tea room l'd strongly urge you to avoid like the plague Unless you are totally desperate. Stopped off here with friends for tea & scones..Should've driven past. Firstly, The staff not very friendly.A smile would help/ force yourself... More

Dear Alexander We are sorry to hear of your experience when visiting the store and have passed this onto the Food Services Manager who has assured me the staff will be told that it is not acceptable to have mobile phones at the workplace as this is totally against company policy. Re the scones & the leaking teapots this is... More

There was a sale on of cashmere knitwear and I chose one for a special birthday gift. It's original price was £170, I got it for £55. This is a good place to stop in this area; the highland cattle in the field beside the shop like being photographed and food for them can be purchased in the shop, as... More

For some odd reason the wife and I completely forgot to bring coats or jackets when visiting Balquhidder at the end of August. Luckily we passed this place and picked up a couple of fleeces at a very good price. 50% off is always welcome! Very welcoming staff too. They also had a lot of other niceties on sale so... More

We normally stop off here to see the Highland Cows and something to eat in the café. The rolls on square sausage with tattie scone are brilliant, tasty and filling. Nice surroundings, plenty of parking and lovely staff.

Lots of coaches, but they come to shop not to sup. The cafe is very average and you would be best advised to get refreshments elsewhere.
