We hadn't had any tea so we decided to have a meal there. We each had the ploughman's which was a huge amount & very nice. I was attending a club meeting at the same time, and the food was really good. Will pop in next time I'm in the area.

I was taken here for a special birthday. I was not disappointed and I am really critical about my food. From start to finish it was delicious

It was very tasty and came with carrots, swede, cauliflower, broccoli and mange tout all cooked to my idea of perfection, which is cooked enough to be tasty but still crunchy. We sat in one... More

Real ale and really good pub food is a great combination and this place has both. What more do I need to say.

Stopped here on our way back from Lake Katrine. We had a mug of really tasty creamy lentil soup with a cheese baguette which was warm and a bowl of chips. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly, and efficient. Would definitely call again.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Good food, gives times to allow for cooking (which is a good sign), artwork on the walls you can buy. (menu on line to review)

I dont normally review unless I feel somewhere is pretty exceptional and this place is most definately that. Myself, my daughter (2.5) a friend and her small dog stopped by here for lunch after a morning walking. We made our way to the bothy bar as it is advertised that you can bring your pooch in.
