Late into town one evening we went into Pinnochio's. The staff were polite and attentive but as there was only one other table occupied you would expect that. The food arrived promptly and was good, however, the decor was a little dated and overbearing. Basically it was like you were an extra in the Disney film, the nightmare version. We... More

If you read my review from 2012, you might be wondering why I went back. Well..... I was invited to a birthday meal by a friend and could not decline or question their judgement. It is still as bad as ever and if you are seriously considering eating here, just READ THE REVIEWS. Bournemouth is full of good Italian restaurants.... More

Casual atmosphere, friendly staff. Even the house wine is good. Try the cannelloni and the spaghetti carbonara.

Well, didn't start too well, the restaurant was quiet, we had a table for 6, and the waiter sat a single gentleman next to us, cramping the space. The food was ok, but the pizza's were.on a Base Taylor Wimpy would be proud of. Wine was good, but just poured, no offer of trying the bottle. Third time I have... More

This is the only time in my life I've sat down in an Italian restaurant, ordered a beer, read the menu and then left without ordering food. Very odd and very disappointing. There is something very unappealing about the menu. Have a look online and you'll see what I mean-perhaps. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is a pleasant place... More

as the only family run Italian on the high street you would think it have a bit of charm and character, but it is sadly lacking in all departments, very budget feel without budget prices lasagne was ok but bland, garlic bread just a slab of loaf with garlic butter smeared on it, and the only wine by the glass... Popped in early evening before a show at the Regent Centre, hoping for quick service and a reasonably priced meal. We were not disappointed and had a really good experience. Very warm welcome by two friendly and efficient waitresses. At 6pm on Thursday after Easter it was quiet, but very soon filled up with locals - always a good sign.... More

We went for lunch and decided to not go to a chain and try a independent restaurant . We were greeted with a warm welcome from staff and seated quickly . We went for the white bait for staters which was nice . Then ordered two pizzas and they were delicious and definitely had a loads cheese unlike the some... More
