We was running on empty after cycling 85 miles of a 110 mile bike ride and was tempted to stop at the pub just up from it, but was so glad we pushed on for the extra 200 metres. As soon as we arrived we was told to sit down and was made to feel like royalty as we was... More

I visited today for a morning break after shopping this is my first visit here this year. What an amazing refurbishment has taken place. Its so camp and elegant and a real pleasure to visit. The food and service is perfect. If you want to impress someone this is the place to drop in.

My wife and I stopped for mid morning coffee at this delightful tea room. We were made most welcome by the proprietor and our waitress who took our order quickly returned with our drinks. Very clean and well decorated throughout, with an outdoor patio which appears to be popular with passing cyclists. Will certainly call in again when heading towards... More

What has happened to this lovely little tea room. Went today, and service was so poor. Ruined the day for me. Will not be going back. Don't know if Lord Morton has sold but something has definitely gone wrong there.

The new decor looks amazing at Lord Morton's tea room. Very grand! Just popped en route for a quick cuppa and was treated to a very nice surprise

Service was excellent staff on the ball and very friendly. Very small inside and adjoining the post office doesn't do the tea room justice .limited parking as my nan has a blue disabled badge we had to park round the corner which was a struggle for her.

We visited here when out and about on our bikes and sampled delicious tea and snacks. We had a huge pot of tea for two which allowed us several top ups. I had a delicious toasted teacake and my husband had two crumpets. The meals and cakes looked scrummy as did the breakfast choice(with veggie option), so we will most... More

We have always had positive comments spoken when we have spoken to people who have experienced Lord Morton's Tea room Evening Events. So as a Christmas Event was announced my wife made a booking early in the year, a good job she had as Lord Morton's Tea Rooms was at full capacity Last night. We had a warm welcome from... More

I visited most recently with a group of friends for coffee and lovely fresh toasted teacakes. There was the usual welcome from the staff and we were served very quickly, within minutes in fact. I also visit regularly with a friend for lunch, although we tend to go for lunch from the menu and have not tried the Ladies Lunch... More
