Myself, my partner, and our flatmate visited here to celebrate finishing our exams. We sat outside which was lovely on a warm sunny day and had some cocktails, mine came after a while but the others were told they were out of the ones they...More

Well, I'm very concerned...as you say we have always avoided shrouding our burgers in buns, but do offer that option if anyone requests it, however it seems that some staff have taken that to mean that we offer that as an option regardless, which is...More

I had the duck config here and really liked it. The waiter was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The price of the food is also quite reasonable.

This is a wonderful little spot in Egham for any time of the day. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating of your needs, their coffee is superb, and the food is always fantastic. Free wifi and a sunbathed garden terrace make this independent eatery...More

My wife and I often go to Bar 163 and we never had a bad meal. The food is nice and simple with no fuss and the service is unobtrusive and efficient and a great place to chill out after a hard days work

Love this place - great food, service, decor and atmosphere. Bit of squeeze when it gets busy as the tables are close together and lunchtime can see herds of young professionals hone in on the tables. Will definitely be visiting more in summer.

Well at least in the summer there'll be room to expand into the garden or onto the balcony, so more room to move hopefully...great that you like it so much, thanks for the fantastic review.

We were in the area and struggling to find somewhere for a Sunday lunch. I remembered Bar 163 from 20+ years ago. It was a great choice. We had a lovely lunch of a couple of small plates between us. The food came swiftly and...More

Great that you came back after so long and still enjoyed everything, a testament to all concerned who work hard to ensure that Bar 163 stays just the way it should, somewhere consistent and reliable (and good...) We've had a few bumps over the years,...More

We only have Peroni on tap and that is 4.75. There is also a range of bottled beers.
I wondered if it is possible to visit Bar 163 for evening drinks? I have a couple of friends visiting me in Egham soon and wondered where I could take them for a nice glass of wine or cocktail with the option of food on the side if wanted. Does Bar 163 fit the bill? Many thanks for your tips.

Its hard to believe that Bar 163 has been in Egham since 1984. More than twenty years on, 163 looks and feels as fresh as ever and continues to attract a varied crowd of young and not so young, professionals and students alike. Originally a bar with food the menu has become so popular over the years that we can safely call Bar 163 a restaurant the Mediterranean inspired dishes have a real taste of summer, exactly what youll be after if you find yourself lucky enough to nab a table in the relaxing secret garden. But despite the food the relaxed, lively bar vibe remains, making this Eghams most well loved venue.
