From the moment you walk in you’re greeted with such a welcoming feeling, from the staff, to the music, the open kitchen. The decor is quirky ☺️ it all works perfectly. The staff were so pleasant , efficient , knowledgeable of the local area. Great choice on the menu, varied & reasonably priced. What I will say, to anyone that’s a burger fanatic like myself , definitely worth a try 😎

My partner and I came here last night for a meal to celebrate the end of my maternity leave and an early Valentines.♡ When we arrived it was visibly very busy, almost every table or booth were filled upstairs and downstairs so there was a small wait for our table. We ordered two pints at the bar and after 10 minutes we were seated to our table upstairs, and had our order taken within 10 minutes. Despite it being extremely busy, our starters and mains came pretty promptly and were pretty hot. My partner had the pork belly and I had the hush puppies, both absolutely gorgeous and full of flavour. We both had the sirloin steak with rustic chips and peppered sauce for our main along with the garlic potatoes and naked slaw for our sides. I am not a big meat eater, this was my 4th time ever having steak and I was so, so pleased with it. We thought the steak could have been seasoned more but maybe they all come the same way since everyone likes a different level of seasoning? It wouldn't deter me from ordering it again though. We struggled to finish our plates we were that full! Table was cleared quickly, both Matthew and Caoimhe checked in with us during each course to ensure everything was okay. Superb meal, good drinks, great atmosphere. I'd like to mention our waitress Caoimhe, when we last visited I was 7 or 8 months pregnant and we ended up here after being ignored at another restaurant. There was a bit of a wait the last time but she kept us updated as much as she could and was also really lovely to speak to. This time round I am 6 months postpartum, she served us and I felt very comfortable to order for myself (I usually don't do this due to anxiety). She was so polite, lovely and clearly enjoys her job too. Every interaction we have had with her has been nothing but positive and it makes us look forward to returning. :) Thank you Caoimhe!

Top class food and service

We had a brilliant experience in The Firehouse. I had booked the restaurant for early afternoon on Xmas Eve. It was really busy so we had to wait a while on the table. Staff were friendly and offered us a drink. There was also a bit of a wait on the food but nothing too serious particularly given this was Xmas Eve. We hadn’t ordered starters so we were surprised to see the young waiter arrive with goats cheese and garlic bread…….. it was being offered on the house! We scoffed the lot - it was very tasty. My wife and kids ordered each went for the chicken burgers and I went for the seabass. The food was superb. The staff were attentive and friendly. The cost was very reasonable. The atmosphere was great and the decor in the restaurant is lovely. If I had one suggestion for how our wonderful experience could be improved it would be to improve the scores on the doors rating from an already perfectly acceptable 4 to a top rating of 5. I appreciate some people pay no heed to this, but I’m a bit of a freak for food hygiene and I look out for these scores! Also, for the benefit of the reader. I seldom put posts on Trip Advisor (although I do use it abroad) but our family enjoyed the food so much I thought I should credit the restaurant. Credit where it’s deserved!!

Despite the positive recommendations, our experience was extremely poor in terms of both food quality and value for money. We ordered the following items: • Chicken Caesar Salad (starter) – £9.50 • Loaded Flatbread • Beef Burger • Rustic Fries • Mac and Cheese • Margherita Pizza • Large Coke, Large Sprite, Large Diet Coke – £5.40 each Our main concerns were as follows: 1. Drinks – The soft drinks tasted flat and extremely watered down. While fountain drinks are expected, the quality was unacceptable, especially given the price of £5.40 per drink. 2. Chicken Caesar Salad – This dish was overpriced for what was served. It contained only five small pieces of chicken and a minimal amount of little gem lettuce. For £9.50, the portion size and quality were disappointing. 3. Mac and Cheese – The biggest issue of the evening was finding a hair in this dish. While the staff replaced it and removed it from the bill, this is unacceptable in terms of hygiene and food safety. Overall, our meal did not meet reasonable expectations for quality, portion size, or value. Given the high prices, we expected much better.

I do wish you had mentioned about the drinks on the day to the server, these are poured from the bottle and could have been changed instantly. I can only say that I am so sorry about you finding a hair in the Mac and Cheese - it is definitely something that we try to prevent from ever happening and I can completely understand that it put you off from eating it and was obviously taken off your bill. I do hope that you might be willing to come back again as a family anytime that you are around Enniskillen to try us out again to show you what the real Firehouse Experience should truly be like! A bit lacklustre, but good allergy service

Came for lunch, we’d pre booked and notified them of allergies. They were very careful about the allergies, which was great. There wasn’t much customer interaction, we moved tables as the music was loud despite us being the only ones there. Took an hour from us getting in to receiving our food, which was a long wait for just main courses of pasta, burger and tofu flat bread. The menu has changed and vegan items had been removed, so there’s now no vegan options on the menu which is disappointing. They rustled something up, which was fine. Waited so long for a waiter that we paid at the bar. Perhaps they are better when things are busier and we got there too early on in a service for them to be warmed up, but it all felt a bit average and lacklustre and definitely on the pricey side for what we received food wise which was all on the dry overcooked end. Wouldn’t rush back

Slow

The Firehouse offers a cosy and bubbly atmosphere with great food options, but service is painfully slow. Have visited The Firehouse a few times now but on each occasion my fellow guests and myself would endure unnecessarily long waits. A recent meal with family saw our sitting take in excess of 2 hours and we hadn't even been approached for our sweet course. We elected to pay, leave and relocate elsewhere. Then we were told others were waiting for our table! Big shame. Pity. Lovely place but lets itself down. I'd like to recommend but cannot. In fact, I don't want to visit The Firehouse again.

Great quality, slow service

Came in after being caught in the rain and other cafes being full. It's lovely inside. Menu seems slightly pricey (there was no lunch menu, just an evening menu and pizza list given to us) and kids menu is cheaper but only consists of a main, not a drink also (although many for the same price might have something else). Pizzas range from £14-20ish, but they do taste great. The main thing was slow service. We ordered a couple of pizzas to share and it took about 40mins for the food to come, even with the restaurant not being full. Entertaining hungry kids in that time is difficult. Impression is that it would be much nicer for a relaxed evening meal, when you are expecting to pay those prices and have more time on your hands also.

Worst steak EVER

From the moment we were seated we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks, then had to wait another 30 minutes for the first 3 plates of food, another 15 for the last 2 plates. We ordered 2 children's pizzas, crusts were burnt, 1 steak was perfectly cooked, 1 steak was OK, however I have never seen a medium rare steak for the 3rd meal quite like it. So overcooked it was hard couldn't cut into it, burnt. Will NEVER return. Was not even offered a discount for spending over £100 for the meals. Chef needs to be sacked and given cooking lessons.

We researched the town for possibilities of enjoying a decent meal for a decent price. The Firehouse sounded just right so we booked in for dinner. The place itself is very stylish, lively and buzzing. You can watch the chef preparing the food in the open plan kitchen, you realise how hard they work! My meal of pan fried sea bass with samphire and garlic potatoes was not very appetising, the samphire was woody and there was too much potato, no other veg was offered. My partner chose the sirloin steak and chips. The steak was tough but the chips were good. The Argentine Merlot was smooth and delicious. I guess the best meal to order would be the pizzas, they looked and smelled delicious.

Very disappointing

We were surprised by what choice of restaurants there were in Enniskillen but as we had a £50 voucher from our accommodation package, we decided to use it on one of the 3 restaurants they owned, and chose the Firehouse. It was busy and had a good atmosphere with an open kitchen. I ordered the crispy belly pork starter, which was not good. 1/2 inches of flabby fat and tiny overcooked chewy pieces of pork and my husbands prawn skillet in garlic burger consisted of 5 ( frozen) prawns and he gave it a 4 score. I told the manager my starter was not nice but my husband kept quiet. Then I ordered sea bass on new potatoes with squash and samphire .fish was again dry and overcooked but I was hungry as I had so little from my starter, whereas my husband’s chicken kebab was just ok. We paid our bill and left. No apology or even an offer of an ice cream. Overall we agreed that the whole meal was worth a 6. We eat at every level of restaurants from Tom Kitchen to street food and always like to give a fair and honest review. The service was fine but the meal definitely was not worth £66.

Boy, did we make the right decision!

The food and beer in the hotel we were staying in were a bit sketchy so we decided to book a place in the town, boy, did we make the right decision! We had a mix of starters, pork belly, burnt ends and some panko ball yokes, all delicious, the pizzas were as good as pizzas get I suppose, we were too full to eat much of them after the starters. The service was unreal, never an empty glass, always checking on us, for a packed Saturday night, that's seriously impressive.

No mains after 1 hour 50 minutes wait

Children's meals came quickly. Starters were very slow to arrive and we left after 1 hour 50 minutes when the adults main courses had not arrived. We had asked the maitre d where our mains were and were told that they were next out however 10 mins later they had still not arrived. Very disappointed in the service. There was no remedy or offer for a solution.

Consistently great food, staff and atmosphere.

A fantastic Saturday night vibe in this busy pub and restaurant. This was matched by delicious food and warm, attentive and friendly staff who clearly work together as a well run professional team. There was a slight delay on our food and the management and staff went above and beyond to update us and ensure our evening was in no way a disapointment. Caoimhe, Matt and Emer in particular made it a great night for our family. We always return to the Firehouse every time we are in Co Fermanagh and this place never disappoints.

Oil Oil Oil & Pork Belly

We go here for the pork belly and white chocolate cookie dough. That’s it. They’re both 10/10 dishes. Almost everything else is either ok or doused in oil. Were it not for the pork belly and white chocolate cookie dough we would probably never go back but the sad fact is, they’re that good we return about once a month. Today we went and just ordered 4 of the pork belly right out the gate. It wasn’t as good as usual (maybe they wanted to save some of the best pieces for other customers) but they were still a solid 8.5/10. However, by the time my husband and I were finished we both agreed one portion each would’ve been enough as it lies heavy. Too much of a good thing! As far as ambience goes, the place is nice and comfortable. Music not too loud, nice lighting with a good standard of cleanliness everywhere. Staff can be hit and miss. Some are lovely (there’s a great American girl - very friendly). And some are rather sour. Service is usually decent as far as speed so you won’t be waiting around for hours. Plus it’s handy - right in the middle of Enniskillen and, although it’s not a cheap place to eat, it’s not extortionate. Just take my advice - don’t order anything except the pork belly and white chocolate cookie dough then thank me in your prayers. You’re welcome

I paid £9.20 for 3 chicken wings. When I asked the waitress she did admit they have decreased the number of wings in the portion, however raised the price. I paid £3.07 per chicken wing. You can buy the same wings in their shop for 5 for £5. Service was okay.
