My partner and I visited here last weekend. Place was busy, which is always a good sign. My selection was easy, T-bone steak, but my partner, being vegan, had less to choose from. Not a problem, with a rehash of the vegetarian menu and helpful staff, we both enjoyed a delicious meal and very reasonably priced. Will call again

Four of us munched our way through the menu on a busy Wednesday evening. Drinks order was taken quickly and alcohol swiftly arrived. A substantial menu full of tempting dishes only made it difficult to choose! I settled for garlic prawns starter ,served with their own bread 🍞 yum. Next was my main of chicken supreme with bacon and leek sauce accompanied by a wonderful champ croquet and tasty veg. I succumbed to the chocolate brownie, it was so good ,definitely the best I've ever had. At our table the salmon, duck and lamb mains were ordered and nothing was left! I was so pleasantly surprised that the menu was not shortened and the prices were fair, ofcourse we got the £10 off each making the bill easier to pay. Will most definitely be back to here, advise booking as it gets very busy.

I booked a table while back visiting my parents, we were a group of five and every one of us enjoyed the food and drinks! I need gluten and dairy free food and it was no trouble for the lovely waiting staff who were able to ensure my choices were suitable. My dad and I enjoyed a fantastic steak each, mine was a 10oz fillet and cooked to perfection, my daughter had the pasta which she really enjoyed too. Sadly I couldn't fit in a pudding but the apple pie and chocolate brownie looked very good. Already looking forward to visiting next time we're in Fermanagh!

At the moment, the UK government is subsidizing restaurants M-W to offer up to 50% off their menu. The upshot is that it is very difficult to get a last minute booking; all restaurants are fully booked. Fortunately, we were able to get a 5pm booking.
The service is excellent and friendly. Probably the best of all four restaurants we visited during our staycation.
My friend ordered the fresh salmon with champ. She said it was delicious. However, I ordered the Tall Stack Onion Tobacco Burger. The meat was tasteless, dense an dry. The portions of chips were so plentiful that I could only eat half of what I was served.

This is a review of two halves... COVID precautions were not great.
Positive first, food was excellent, tasty, portions good and overall enjoyable.
But... very expensive. We availed of the eat out help out and bill ended up very close to what we would have usually expected for a family meal out which was strange.
The COVID precautions were not as good as other places. Firstly the table spacing looked normal and there were no Perspex screens- some definitely within a metre - staff no visors and didn’t keep distance while at table.
We were early sitting, in fact first and another couple placed next to us even though other tables remained empty the whole time we were there.
We just felt nervous the whole time...

Before visiting the restaurant, I rang round to find somewhere with decent vegetarian options. The Horseshoe confirmed they had a veggie menu and gleefully said they would make us something if it didn't suit.
When we arrived, the bistro was poorly lit and had the vibe of an inactive church hall.
Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, we were seated beside the toilets.
The wait staff were amiable, but when I asked questions about the menu, they didn't seem confident in their answers. Such as the soup of the day. ‘Is it a broth, or is it creamed?’ I was advised that it was creamed, but when it arrived, it was a hybrid of both. And salty to the point that I couldn't finish it.
For our mains, we had a choice of a salad, stir fry or pasta. We ordered the penne pasta, but instead of the arrabbiata, we asked for a tomato sauce/ napolitana because of a sensitivity to spice. We had asked if the chef might do a creamy mascarpone sauce, but we were told that they wouldn't have time due to a busy dinner rush in the bar downstairs. When it arrived, it was a reserved amount of penne in a heavy soup-like sauce with a random collection of vegetables scattered throughout: red peppers, aubergine and carrot within the mix . Although I tried to eat as much as possible, I couldn't manage it due to the sickeningly sweet taste.
Additionally, I mentioned to the waitress when I booked that we were coming in to celebrate my dad’s birthday. I was told they would bring out a cake for us at the end of the meal. This did not happen. We could barely pay the bill for the overworked waitress managing too many food to table deliveries.
Unfortunately, the experience as a whole was extremely disappointing and I couldn't recommend.

We booked a table for 19:00 o'clock when we arrived we seated and given menus. It took a while to take the order. It took to 20:30 for our food to come out and to be honest it was worth the wait. I had tried to order the tomahawk steak but was told that it was not available. I ordered the t bone and asked for it rare when it finally arrived it was well done. The kids ordered steaks and theirs was rarer than mine. With one of the boys steaks we had ordered skinny fries but had to send it back as it came out with chunky chips. I sent my steak back and was advised that there was a rare steak nearly ready. My wife ordered the salmon it came out with a soggy potato and chive cake and some underdone tiger prawns. Overall the meal was disappointing for the price we paid. We had to ask for the bill at nearly 21:30 and had to go up to the bar to pay. When my wife made a comment about how long it had taken to get our meal we were told it was really busy tonight. To be honest I didn't think it was that busy and the service could have been better. I think 2 hours 30 minutes is too long to have to wait for only ordering main courses. I would not be rushing back to eat at this establishment.

Absolutely disgraceful service by the female staff who were serving; an older woman with glasses and black hair and a woman with blonde cropped hair.
extremely rude and unhelpful, service was awful waiting 50 minutes for food and the burger was chewy and hard
if it wasn’t for the man working, he had glasses behind the bar the night would have been a complete disaster.
will not be returning

Went to the Saddlers for a family meal to celebrate a birthday.
I do not like to write reviews when the service and food is poor, but my experience last night has led to it.
In the group there were two people with coeliac disease and one with gluten and diary intolerance. If was good that there was a separate menu. This was a sub section of the main menu. However what is not good is that the price is the same and what was different was items removed.
We ordered starters: melon and fruit salad, king prawns and soup. After a very long time only the melon was delivered it was just big chunks of watermelon and nothing else. The other starters never arrived. After at least 10 minutes, we chased up. We were then told the order was not put through. The manager apologised and said the starters and the wine would be removed. WELL good job starters removed from bill as NEVER received them.
We were told that they were sorry as they were under pressure. The restaurant was full. My thoughts were if you cannot meet demand, take less bookings.
Eventually the mains arrived. The pasta has to be returned straight away as not hot enough, when it came back, looked like it has been thrown in a microwave.
Everyone of the 6 at the table has poor quality food and normally would have returned it, but it was so late that needed to eat and just wanted to leave
We did complain at the end and demonstrated what was bad with the main courses, like a duck breast that a knife bounced off or veg that could not be cut.
Only the lamb meal was removed from the bill and we were charged for the other sub standard main courses.
I will never go ba k to the Saddlers and the excuse used of them struggling as a customer is not my issue.
I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Enniskillen

Was here this evening with my family including 2 children. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to order off of the horseshoe menu as we sat at Saddlers. The kids had chosen some menu items online that are usually only available at Horseshoe. We enjoyed a great quiet dinner with outstanding service! Food was prepared and presented perfectly as well. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We took our family for a meal to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Service at the beginning was very good but as the evening progressed it became very busy and obviously there wasn't enough staff to cope. We had brought a birthday cake for my wife that the staff put in the kitchen for later. After the main course we waited for nearly an hour for the grandchildrens ice cream and as for the cake having asked three members of staff for it they just never brought it out so we ended up taking it back home. The bill was a complete mess. 17 large cokes when we only had 10??? Overall not a very good night for someone's special day.

First time back in Enniskillen since 2018 so just had to book a table at our favourite restaurant Horseshoe and Saddlers. Yet again it did not disappoint, wife and I both ordered the 10 oz fillet steak both cooked to perfection (medium) Good sized side order portions make this an extremely filling meal. Staff very attentive and welcoming.
Thanks again H&S Anne and Paul Newtownards.

Called in here for couple of drinks, and was offered a couple of different menus for food, which looked good so decided to stay for dinner and a few more drinks. All staff were very friendly and we were glad we stayed for dinner as my wife and I were both really pleased with our choices (siloinn steak with trimmings and salmon) and enjoyed them. Service was excellent and will definitely be back, in fact we came back the next night.

This bar doesn't have much in place for social distancing. Having said that we stopped in for lunch and it was super value. Not a huge menu but when you use the eat out to help out with 50% off you don't really care. It wouldn't be my first choice as the quality was just ok
