My son and I stayed at this truly unique inn for three nights, wish it could have been longer. We visited the Eden Project one day and went on a day's walk on the second (Hall Walk, Gribbin Head etc). The food, both breakfasts and evening meals (we eat there every night), was excellent with plenty of variety. The staff... More

We're fairly regular here but I want to write another review. Having sampled pubs and restaurants across cornwall and the uk 🙈 this remains the best most authentic roast dinner to be found anywhere. And in such a lively lication and venue. Winter in the bar ,full of warmth and character, or summer on the terrace with the best view... More

We were looking forward to a pint and some food after a long walk, also hoping for a warm welcome. We were to be disappointed, no one at the bar on arrival, after ringing the bell as prompted a sullen barmaid managed a yes? I made the mistake of asking to try a beer as I did not know it,... More

We stayed at a local campsite for a weekend and walked down to the Old Ferry Inn one evening. Good choice of real ales but ciders were a bit of a let down, just one local cider on tap. Decent choice of food on the menu but expensive. Specials menu was very over priced in our opinion. No service with... More

Stopped in at the end of a walk. Cosy pub, popular with locals. Good pub menu and a very tasty and generous Sunday roast pork dinner for 10.50. No complaints from me.

With only twelve rooms this is a bijou hotel ( more a pub with rooms) situated by the Bodinnick ferry which takes cars and foot passengers across to the historic town of Fowey Most rooms have river views and are a good size with tv and tea/coffee making facilities..although en suite bathrooms are on the small side.(the shower in room... lovely quaint hotel but not ideal for older people, too steep approach and no lift, plenty of narrow stairs but good food and staff. very clean.

We had walked from Polruan along the Hall Path. We were tired, hungry and looking forward to a pub lunch. The staff were extremely unwelcoming, they did not speak to us when we entered, despite no one else being in the bar. I made a joke about coming in the wrong door and was blanked by both of the bar... More

This is a review in two parts. I can fully recommend the food but have extreme reservations in relation to the service received. We were advised to try "The Old ferry Inn" and arrived on our first night to a good reception and after a bit of a wait were extremely impressed with the food. It was so good we... More

Visited here with Family for several meals during our holiday. The food and drink is excellent. The views from the terraces outside are stunning. If i have a niggle its that some of the staff that forward face the customers need to brighten up. Perhaps they were having a bad day to be fair!
