The restaurant is stylish in a lovely location with great views. The bar has incredible views of the bridges so it's worth having a drink in there before you eat. The food was lovely, well cooked. The menu was excellent, specialising in local produce. Could't fault the food. The portion sizes aren't great and you will need to order some... More

Modern clean restaurant large windows looking across the River Tyne near the millennium bridge, a little disappointed that the man who greeted us didn't manage a smile, we were taken to our table at the window, beautiful... I've been to Six a couple of times before with family and friends and this time I got to treat someone who had never been. It was an excellent evening making the views from the top a perfect backdrop. The service was fantastic as was the food. There is plenty to choose from on the menu as with the drinks... More

I can honestly say this is my favourite restaurant. The views either day or night are magnificent looking down the Tyne and city skyline. As always the food is amazing and the service I could not fault. All I have to say is please try this for yourself you and your friends will not be disappointed.

I took my sister in law out for a girly Sunday lunch as the menfolk enjoyed an afternoon at St James' Park. You can actually see the stadium from the restaurant! Our window seat was spectacular, the service friendly and efficient and the food good. We both really enjoyed the fish cake starter.

Me and my partner went for afternoon tea following a voucher we were given; for the princely sum of £50 I have to say I was a little disappointed. At lunch time it felt more like a cheap cafe that we were hurried in and out of. We were situated with "a view of the river" now I'm 6"3' and... More
