Just visited for a meal, it was expensive but really nice. Service was okay, waitress seemed a little tired but did really well at remembering a long list of specials :)

Called in here as it was recommended and to check it out as a possible ‘local’. Bar staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely decoration and very clean. Food menu looked good but we didn’t eat on this occasion. A large car park and outside seating area....More

If you’re in or around Grange or Cartmel, you have to visit this pub. The service is fantastic, and the food is beyond compare. The atmosphere is excellent with the bonus being an adults only section in the restaurant.

We were lucky to get a table the Friday after Christmas. My Higginson burger meal was excellent and the chefs own chocolate torte was to die for. Cheerful friendly service. Excellent.

New Years Eve was spot on, excellent food, decent price and the staff as usual were friendly and efficient. Beer prices fare, probably one of the best establishments in the area. Try it!!

Came here as a group of 6 with children for an evening meal. It was extremely busy as it was New Years weekend but the staff were very friendly and the food was stunning.
