Me and my girl had a lovely meal last night at the pheasant Inn. We booked a table, no problem, and was greeted by warm and friendly staff. The food was excellent as was the service and the banter with the staff was fun, despite it being a bit of a miserable evening out side. I got a right drenching... More

Passed this place by chance after viewing the local area. Myself and husband enjoyed the curry, whilst my mother in law had the fish n chips. The portions were all generous and the food excellent. All the staff are friendly and make sure your ok. Definitely will be back and very soon.

Had a lovely family lunch as a repeat (local) customer. Everyone was (as usual) very friendly, professional and efficient. Portions were generous and delicious. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. We’ll be back this weekend.

Staying in the area for first time we found this place online. Went on a Tuesday night and seemed quiet. Service was excellent as was the 2 courses we had. Special compliments to the burgers probably best I have had.

Called in looking for lunch, despite being very busy we were given a table which was reserved but free for long enough for us. Had the seafood platter for two, a masterpiece, the squid was so tender and the prawns nice and juicy. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Many thanks, you will see us again

Comfortable dining pub, with friendly staff, a pleasant bar and a very agreeable sun-trap beer-garden. As with most country pubs these days, the accent is on food and I have always eaten well here. I also notice that the dining tables are often quite full, and many customers are obviously repeat trade... always a good sign. If you're going in... More
