A well run and classy pub that clearly has aspirations, although I was staying at two different hotels over the two days I was recommended to eat here. Good advice, highly recommended.

Visited this pub for the first time on a quiet weekday evening. We were immediately welcomed and shown to a table of our choice. The starters came promptly, and I was pleasantly surprised that we were asked if we were ready for the main course....More

We had to find somewhere to meet that was not far off the M6. We first looked at a restaurant next door but the Rams Head looked much cosier. We had a lovely meal, the service was excellent and I would definitely go again.

I was looking for a gastro pub for a quality Sunday lunch, in the Warrington area... Well I certainly didn’t find it! Waited some time for our beef Sunday lunch, priced at £12.95. We weren’t unduly concerned, thinking that the Chef was taking culinary care...More

Have been many times, from Christmas family meals to an evening out for 2 or more and the food is always really great, both in terms of choice and flavour. The food is always beautifully presented, tonight was no exception, the hot pot came in...More
