Fresh homemade meals available with great views across countryside. Short drive from Wolverhampton city centre but feels so peaceful and secluded. Recommend to anyone.

We found this wonderful pub through Tripadvisor and with it having a high rating we visited for dinner. Old country pub dated 1630 with the best steak and ale pie I have ever had. Full of lean steak and topped with golden brown puff pastry, was more than enough for a big appetite. Of course, save room for the treacle... More

Have been a couple of times to The Barley Mow and on each occasion have not been disappointed. The food is absolutely to die for. A word of advice try to make your last meal a light snack before you visit as the food is plentiful. Another tip is to try and book a table as this is a small... More

Took my partner's cousin and her boyfriend to experience a real English pub. Their first visit to England. They had a great time and enjoyed every minute. They were able to sample real ale and even have a small sample before choosing a whole pint. The bar staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful - wicked experience 😃

We went as a family of 4, two adults a child and baby for tea. We booked early the same day as we have heard it's a popular place to eat and drink. We got seated straight away on a reserved table. Ordered food at the bar an it came really quickly, big portions and served piping hot. Staff were... More

We chose the Barley Mow due to its high ranking on trip advisor but failed to see any attraction! I would not recommend it if you have anyone with mobility issues in your party. We checked ahead for accessibility but were not told how difficult it would be. We could barely get into the small crowded car park, let alone... More

Had to come back the other night as we missed our fab pies. Excellent every time. I wish I could steal the recipe for the steak and Stilton pie. Yummy.
