When we go into town we sometimes pop in here for a drink and some lunch. The drinks are cheap and the food is good value for money. It's not high quality produce but it's tasty and you get plenty. There's lots of tables and...More

This is my regular Tuesday night eatery as Wetherspoons have a a 'steak night' every Tuesday. It's not gourmet, the steaks probably could be better cooked, but it's all very edible and at a very decent price. Download the Wetherspoons app onto your smartphone and...More

I popped in for a glass of wine, which was under £3 - a bargain! Nice pub, right on the edge of town.

We ordered the curry, Vegetarian curry and skinny steak. The steak was a little over cooked but overall very good. It was also very busy due to the time of year but did not have to wait long before our food was delivered.

As this is our closest Wetherspoons we tend to patronise it frequently. And I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here, not something I can say for other Wetherspoons I’ve visited. There is plenty of seating so, at least lunchtime, you can...More

This is another attractive refurbishment of an aged establishment with the usual Wetherspoons fare and fair prices.

The County Hotel is a warm and welcoming Wetherspoon's pub, which is family welcoming with a lively atmosphere. We open for breakfast every morning at 8am, and stay open until late hours of the evening. We also have a large, open garden area to enjoy the sunshine when you can!
