A lovely old building on the outskirts of Banbury. Only the a La carte menu was available on Saturday evening and I found that rather restricted as I do not eat fish or game. I had the burger which was OK but nothing special. I felt prices were high for the quantity on offer. The staff on duty when we... More

Popped in for drinks before moving on elsewhere for a meal. Lovely old beamed building and we got prime spot in the armchairs by the fire which was lovely. I knocked off a star because of the limited choice of ales. It's in the good beer guide yet there were only two real ales on offer, one of which was... More

Have eaten at The Three Pigeons twice now when visiting Banbury and the food was delicious on both occasions. The burger is great and pork fillet with seasonal veg and mash absolutely delicious. Very cosy surroundings in a proper traditional inn environment. Ale is well kept so well deserved place in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and the Purity Brewery... More

My wife and I dined here in December. The Inn is small, but in a very cosy way, and despite most tables being full we never felt confined or affected by noise. The service was in no way over-bearing and we were left untroubled to enjoy the menu and our wine. The Pork Fillet main was particularly delicious, and the... More

We had a quick dinner mid week. The food was excellent quality and v tasty. The pub is cute and the service friendly. Not the cheapest which was unfortunate for a quick meal but we'd have happily lingered.

I ate at the Three Pigeons on Thursday 15th December for our company's annual xmas lunch. The pub is located close to the centre of town and does have a small car park, however there is plenty of alternative public car parking nearby. The food was excellent - I had the vegetarian mushroom tart, which was delicious and made a... More

Really nice sunday lunch & my lamb was devine!! 5 of my friends had the beef but for 4 of them it was too pink.(though would have been perfect for my taste in beef) The staff are all very nice but have to say a tad slow when you are at the bar wanting to order a drink. Lovely suroundings,... More

Lovely old pub on the main street. They fully understood my husband's requirement for gluten-free food. Staff very friendly and attentive. Vegetables were a little undercooked for my liking, but that is personal taste. Overall an enjoyable experience.

We had a lovely evening with family getting together for a Christmas meal as various people were going to be elsewhere for the big day itself. The Three Pigeons is local to most of us and most of us have been there many times before and had a great time so it made sense to get together there for this... More

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? some thought needed by management but having seen they them put their heart and soul into this place I am not going to write anything negative nor should there be it's just called losing the edge. Staff excellent. My lunch for two was £95 inc tip so you get a little picky when you are looking for a premium... More

Description
Settled in the heart of Banbury The Three Pigeons Inn has been at the very heart of the community since it first opened its doors back in the 17th Century. It has created so many memories for customers of all ages and taken its rightful place in the hearts and minds of the many residents both in the town and in the surrounding areas. The Three Pigeons Inn has being lovingly restored to its former glory and has now achieved it's first AA Rosette. It is now a free house with guest accommodation, with our main focus being our fabulous food. We offer modern English cuisine prepared freshly using locally sourced produce by our award winning Head Chef. Throughout its vast restoration project, and since opening, the motto at The Three Pigeons Inn has always been to do everything to the best of our ability, the end result speaks for itself. We have now passed that motto on to our team, whether it's a morning cappuccino next to one of our coal burners, or a three course meal in our Winter Garden, The Three Pigeons Inn will always deliver 10 out of 10. The Three Pigeons Inn is opening its wings to invite you into areas of the building previously hidden from sight. They are now being used to create a space for you to relax and enjoy the company of friends and family. What you will find in place of the old neglected lounge is a transformation to the extraordinary. The bar will be a central feature so that our friendly staff are never too far away. Three guest bedrooms have been added along with a new Kitchen and Beer cellar. The gardens have been landscaped and a function room has been built.
