Me and my girl freind went here for lunch, ordered two chicken melts with peppercorn source instead of barbeque, after paying 18 pound for this, they came n told us there was no peppercorn source. So because my girlfreind didnt want it I asked for a full refund. Then only got 11 pound back. I told them it was 18... More

Called en route back to Nottingham . Polite staff but oh dear is in need of a clean up. All the upholstery was dirty and obviously stained. We put Monday menus down to sit on. Tim please take note.

Visited here on Bank Holiday Monday had the club meal which is excellent value for money . Staff friendly and helpful but had make my presence known at the bar to get served . The locals were served first rather than outsiders

Wetherspoon standard menu but well cooked and nicely presented. Cheaper then our local one in Barnstaple! Staff friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed the mulled cider!. Ideally situated near our hotel - ate here as much better value for money then hotel.

Called in at The Exchange again for lunch, it hasn't changed much over the years, still a bit dark and could do with a makeover. However the staff are very polite and friendly and I can honestly say that the 14oz steak I had was on of the best I have had in a long time, tasty and cooked just... More

I don't often get annoyed with how a place is run but this was poor. I had a morning meeting thinking lets have a coffee and breakfast. The place was under staffed and didn't know were to turn. Help yourself coffee there wasn't any, managed to order bacon and egg sandwiches took ages and wasn't great I left mine. It... More

Why oh why don't the management do something about the toilets in this pub ... Since they opened 10 plus years ago , the same leaky urinal still leaking over the floor , the smell is overpowering , lol seats broken , shameful disrespect towards the customer ...

Only one person serving behind the bar on our visit so service was slow to say the least. The whole ambience and surrounding area felt seedy. Vegetarian lasagne was a mass of stodge. The ladies loos were awful. When the flush was pulled the water rose so high I thought it was going to go over the side of the... More
