My wife and I had a meal here in May. We booked in advance as had seen the good reviews on trip advisor. This is a really old pub and was 'according to the owner' a recruting station for Napoleonic era soldiers. We had a...very warm welcome and were shown to our table. A good menu with lots of homemade foods (Nice to see). I had the homemade staek and ale pie which was amazing, real bits of steak that melted in the mouth, vegetables and chips, my wife had a Gammon, which was large, thick and very tasty. Desert was also good, we were so full we asked for one desert and two spoons, we had the chocolate fudge cake which once again was a generous portion and well presented. Great food, great atmousphere, time well spent. Would definately go back. Thanks guys.More

Had a good lunch after a walk around the area whilst staying in Biggin. Enjoyed roast lamb which was served in a large Yorkshire pudding which was novel but worked. Nice friendly atmosphere and a proper pub with a community involvement

We were staying locally so decided to try out the local Inn for a meal. We were not disappointed! Not only was the quality of the food excellent, there was plenty of it and it was extremely good value for money. The staff were all...very friendly and it is definitely somewhere I would make a point of going back to visit when next in the area.More

Walked here, and the staff and locals were very friendly. Good beer and food, and nice seating area outside . Can be taken in as part of a longer walk around the area, with good public footpaths across the fields to other villages.
