Had the full veggie breakfast with all the things whilst reading papers with a friend and looking out onto the rainy streets. Lovely, helpful staff. A true gem. Thank you!

Had a great breakfast - loved the oatcakes! The service was really helpful, flexing the menu around our children

My wife and I read the good reports on this café and on our trip to Buxton decided to have lunch there. It was very disappointing. The jacket potatoe was warm and not hot, the mixed salad had ingredients that were not compatible and tasted very odd to us, with a tuna and jacket potatoe. We paid the bill and... More

We stopped off here for a hot drink and teacake. The teacakes were very good, with tasty homemade jam, and the drinks were decent. Nice place inside and staff were friendly / helpful.

Thinking about it, we've only had anything other than breakfast or morning coffee here once. Very nice it was too various colourful and exciting salads accompanying a Spanish Tortilla. However, the real piece de resistance is the breakfast, and for us, the vegetarian breakfast. There are delicious lighter breakfasts avaiailable, but if you go for the full month, make time... More

I have been to this cafe many times but I am not returning. It's nothing to do with the food or staff just the chef. On several occasions he is unwelcoming to the point we feel like he resents us coming to spend money there. Even suggesting why do you make this at home. Our weekly visits have been come... More

Popped in for lunch today off the cuff with my wife. Love the openness of seeing the chef do his work and the waitress was lovely and pleasant. Beautiful dahl soup for me and a Cajun wrap for my wife. My one comment would be a nice fancy roll would've matched the homemade soup and ambiance rather than a boring... More
