I visited today for my first and last time for a take away drink.. I walked through what I thought was the entrance and joined the que.. I was waiting for a minute or so only for a staff member to rudely shout at me...to go around through the other door to order.. I left embarrassed & walked around to the other door and joined the que.. I was asked immediately for my order.. like seriously if all the other people there weren't waiting to order why embarass me and have me walk around?? Only for I offered my friend a drink and she was in the car I would have just left.. Pretentious and overpriced.More

My favourite spot for a fantastic coffee. Great selection of single origin coffees on the bar. Nice outdoor seating available. Retail section also brilliant. I always pick up a bag of beans to get my fix at home too!

NEVER have i ever been a more amazing place! The scent starts already far out front. The view from the parking lot is just the beginning of the experience, and then you get in to Great decor, Great scents and warm staff. And the the...Way you chose your coffeé 😱😍 I chose a cappucino, then I had to choose which coffee I wanted my cappucino made with. Then a small can of the selected coffee was opened and whole beans was poured into the coffee grinder, so my coffee was made with freshly ground coffee. I am impressed. Look at my pictures and then you will hopefully also be impressed and inspired to visit this gem!More

We love the coffee here and the views. However having to sit in your car because it is wet and windy ( hello Ireland) is a big turn off. It looks like a good size premises , so please put back the indoor seating.

Friends and I headed down from Kildare just for some amazing coffee and we weren't disappointed! Very helpful and informative staff, really interesting choosing coffee blends. Was a little disappointed when I only had 2 choices of non dairy milk BUT I feel the the...choices they had complimented the coffee perfectly. The croissants are a must! I wish they had more sheltered outdoor seating. I can't wait to go back.More

This is the spot for people who enjoy excellent coffee. Worth driving for, there is nowhere within a hundred miles or more that can rival it. It is for grown ups who appreciate authenticity, beautiful design, stunning views and confident service.

I'm just after spending a minor fortune in this establishment. Twice. And I'm now the proud owner of some extremely beautiful coffee paraphernalia that I've been longing after for a very long time. And all thanks to excellent service from the staff. Every detail from...making you feel welcome and important to explaining in detail the different ground types, coffee types and what works where - they didn't just sell me products but also an experience. And all that before I'd even tasted their excellent coffee. I see people give out about this place being an adult only venue. But if you come here as an adult with no kids, you get a fantastic coffee experience and not just a mere takeaway latte. What an absolute fantastic place to happen upon.More

Visited here twice in one week. First visit I made the mistake of having my kids, we had just seen the “adult only” sign when we were “very politely” ushered off the premises. I’ve absolutely nothing against adult only spots, my pre-children self would’ve only...loved it - just the way it was done seemed a little formal/pretentious. Chanced it one more time on the way back from our hols to give them the benefit of the doubt. And coz we love coffee! It’s grand. The coffee is decent. There’s a sign on the counter telling you that you should only park your car in their car park for a short amount of time. There’s another sign saying “display cakes” beside a display of cakes. And a staff member who also tells you they are display cakes. My overall impression is that while the coffee is good, this place should maybe lighten up with their counter signage. And their adult only signage. Kid free zones can be relaxing and craic too!!! Or consider just doing drive through. Might eliminate any confusion about children, parking and display cakes 😬More

some people complained that they didnt order any cakes, as there was only a small selection left. Hence we had to start advising these are display cakes only. Looks like we cant win. regarding parking, yes unfortunately people would order a coffee, discard their cars...More

This is a property and offering for adults. Any concession or 'special treatment' for children at any ages causes confusion, so its easier for everyone if we have a policy and adhere to it.

I had not visited here in the past and made the plan to this week. It is down the side of the side section of Matt The Threshers pub and a little turn off on the left. On parking you can see it is open...with a conservatory like glass effect, showcasing the activity of the baristas inside. They work from a really attractive and pure looking slab of stone, which coffee taps rise through. The barista asked how I like my coffee. I told him I prefer it strong. He patiently explained the dark bean, to the region the others come from. I am sure he talks about it many times a day so well done and I am sure the passion helps. The coffee tasted as good and good value for all the time given to each customer @ 3.50. I did see the signs about "due to the nature of our business adults only" . There are many other places - actually all other places in Munster that welcome kids. This place is definitely in the minority in this regard, with not welcoming kids but moving in the direction of turning them away. That said the business is rare in how it is set up and the coffee equipment it uses and sells instore I was impressed by. The coffee tastes as the batista promised - Strong and really really good.More
