A friend and I called in here for coffee and then decided to come back for lunch! Warm welcome from staff - volunteers - and some of the locals eating there were friendly too. Coffee was good and strong. We returned for a late lunch and had the last 2 bowls of soup - one mushroom and one root veg.... More

Such a pleasant friendly place, just what we needed to warm ourselves up and finish off a lovely day! We walked around the beautiful picturesque brockweir area first and then stumbled across this gem - homemade chutneys (beetroot, wasabi and ginger for me!), local brews, a beautiful popular café, reasonable priced goods and even cash back - ideal for travellers... During our holiday we walked to here along the riverside from Tintern, 1.6 miles but well worthy the trip. So much more than we expected we found a store filled with local produce, freshly baked bread, a great selection of wines, beers, ciders etc to name just some. The staff were lovely and after making our selection we purchased a... More

A remarkable acheivement to build a community shop run entirely on solar power and ground source heat pump. Prince Charles opened this shop some years ago. It is run by volunteers from the village and sells mainly local, organic foods. There are eating areas outside and in and the food is strictly not "fast food". Do shop and eat here,... More

Been here so many times over the years, the building has developed nicely it has a wonderful feel with lots of bare oak timber. The shop is great, it has a wonderful variety of locally sourced goods and includes locally produced crafts and also food and drink. The cafe is an absolute gem, great coffee and snacks, including some fabulous... More

Local shop, to where we are staying popped in on Sunday, no roast but good home cooked food. Lovely farm style shop, all essentials and more.

My family and I popped in here whilst my mother-in-law was visiting as we'd heard good things and what a gem it is! It's tucked away a couple of minutes drive up from Brockweir bridge and to be honest you are unlikely to accidently drive past but that's a great shame. The shop is a stunning example of local produce... More

This was our second "morning coffee and cake" visit recently (forgot to leave a review following our first). Anyway, coffees were good quality and reasonable, food excellent, friendly service and an impressive range of products for sale in the shop - much of it local. We now buy our museli here so ensure that we have an excuse to return... More

There are not too many coffee shops you can slip your muddy boots off and walk about in your socks and get a great warm welcome, however, Brockweir Shop and coffee shop is certainly one of them. I was mid walk and planned to stop here for a break after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor. I wasn't disappointed.... More

Lovely ladies serving wholesome, delicious food at very reasonable prices. The community spirit and a keen eye on local needs makes this shop a real winner.
