Decided to stop here on the off chance as it was mid morning coffee time. From the moment we walked in the door it was such a pleasurable experience. The staff were super friendly and very polite. We ordered a couple of coffees, a brownie...and one of the gigantic custard slices. We sat down out the back and it was so nice to drink excellent coffee in cups again. It is definitely worth going back for the coffee alone, but when you add one the quality of the cakes, including the best custard slice I've ever tried, then it is the sort of place you make a detour for. I can't wait to find an excuse to go back.More

Fantastic service from the Chatterbox Team today for Mother’s Day, Amazing food and brilliant opportunity to spoil my mum without me being in the county and without being able to see her with lockdown. Fantastic value for money. I’ve been told the “Lemon posset was...out of this world”. Thank you so much guys, Would 110% recommend Chatterbox and will certainly be using them again in the very near future 👍🏻.More

Although I live not too far from Chepstow I can't believe I have not heard of this fabulous cafe! Although not a huge menu the panini's and sandwiches are of an excellent standard and a nice choice. My daughter and I chose two different fillings,...we were both mulling over the same choices so we thought we would go halves the waitress said no problem they would divide each panini (it's often the little things that make the difference between good & not so good service). The cakes and tray bakes looked super delicious however we were too full up to try , we had also sampled one of their luxury grown up milk shakes (bailey's iced coffee) we were offered a mini social recipe welsh cake to try................just delicious. We will definitely be visiting again, such a high standard cafe with lovely decor, even the bathroom facilities are spotlessly clean.More

My partner and I walked in the pouring rain for 20 minutes, determined to get to Chatterbox, given the reviews on here - we were not disappointed and it was a welcomed haven to dry off and re-fuel. The food was fresh and tasty -...the chilli jam is delish! The staff were inviting, chatty and made you feel very welcome. We had an added kind gesture of a lift back to Chepstow centre from one of the team - an act of kindness that went a long way. Get yourself to Chatterbox, it won't disappoint.More

Such a lovely coffee shop, the staff are always extremely welcoming and the food is delicious! This is one of my favourite coffee shops around. Definitely worth a visit even if it’s just to grab one of there scrumptious freshly baked homemade brownies or iced...coffees 😋! Something for everyone even my little boy loves it here! 💙More

Two hungry cricket umpires travelling to South wales for saturdays games seeking a relaxed breakfast found the most wonderful , welcoming environment with just great food. Not knowing that we were early the two smiling happy ladies said come on in and lets find you...a seat. It was a good job we were early as the venue quickly filled up. We would happily have paid more Thank you Ladies.More

Myself and some family/friends (6 in total)visited here after having been for a run. We arrived unannounced! The ladies couldn’t do enough for us. Given the difficult circumstances at the moment, they set up some chairs and tables for us in their outside area so...we could enjoy our breakfasts somewhere other than in our cars in the carpark! The breakfasts were fantastic as were the freshly made cakes. Will definitely be returning when next in the area and would highly recommend.More
