Quirky and friendly little tea rooms. Cakes were fantastic and the cream tea wasn't bad either! My wife had 2 visits to the funky toilet....the 2nd time to read Tobys Tales! A lovely place to while away the time.

After walking along the main drag heading towards the beach, we decided to stop by here for a quick coffee and slice of cake - we are so glad we did!! First thing I noticed were the signs saying how they welcomed children, dogs and everyone and come on in for a sit down and a delicious homemade delicacy. So... More

Found this charming cafe open when many were closed, early afternoon on a Thursday. Beautiful decor, interesting pictures and loads of fantastic and wide ranging books to delve into whilst enjoying a really scrumptious cream tea with local whortleberry jam. Fantastic, will definitely go there again.

First time we have been to The Apple Tree but it certainly won't be the last. We had our puppy Max with us, it was the first time we had taken him into a cafe and we were a little nervous. We were greeted with open arms, a blanket and toy were brought out for Max and he was fussed... More

A hidden gem in Minehead, a cut above the rest of the town. The goulash soup was 'historic', as the late Michael Winner would have said. Good service, friendly staff and Glen Miller as background. Wonderful. Hayling Seagoon

Enjoyed a lovely lunch in this tea shop today. Cold & misty out doors but warm & cosy inside. Great hot decaf latte and toasted sandwiches. Great decor - love the pictures. Friendly and efficient service. Note: cash only. Dogs & children welcome.

It was the first weekday of the October Half - Term and the weather was dreadful. We had an excellent week before with very good weather but this Monday there was continual rain. We had just finished looking around a NationalTrust house in the area but as we couldn't walk the gardens in the rain we decided to visit Minehead... More

Description
The Apple Tree Tearooms is to be found half way up the tree-lined avenue in Minehead. Serving a healthy cooked breakfast, soups, jacket potatoes, toasties, sandwiches and baguettes and salads and Ploughmans. Luscious home-made cream teas, cakes, cookies and slices make this venue a mecca for visitors and locals alike. Boasting a colourful interior and equally delightful al fresco tea garden, this café is ideally suited to families with young children, as children's books, toys and treasure hunts are provided. There is good disabled access and facilities. Oh, and dogs are also most welcome -they are offered dog blankets, treats and water bowls (as long as they are owners are well-behaved).
