Been here a few times now and always lovely food. We always get the afternoon tea so can't comment on the rest of the menu, but this is always really nice. Quite a small place but can eat outside in the summer. Staff are always friendly and prices are very good!

The Teashop by the Canal in Newbruy Whark is more of a traditional Tea Room and is housed in the lovely old building of the ancient Granary. The staff were kind and attentative, the hot and cold drinks hit the spot perfectly and the croissants looked mouth - watering. overall, the fantastic place to go and have a nice refreshing... More

A little overpriced for what you get but the food is always fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the eggs benedict with spinach! Great vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menu too. Excellent for breakfast and brunch. Milkshakes are amazing too.

I really like coming here. Everything I've tried has been delicious. The décor inside is lovely but this café is even better when it's warm enough to sit outside by the canal.

This typically English Teashoppe reminds me of going to tea with my Nana in the days when china cups and tea cakes were the norm at 4pm! With a rather old fashioned style that is welcoming and food cooked to order you are bound to want to take your friends there so that you can repeat the experience of good... More

Started our day here with a late breakfast before a long bike ride, was lovely. Also had a gluten free option which was perfect for my partner. Only complaint is that the delicious coffee could have been in a larger cup, just being greedy!

After an attempt to visit about 6 months ago when the vegetarian and gluten free menus had been eradicated it was great news to see that they were back. We had toasties, cheese and tomato and bacon, brie and cranberry both were simple but delicious. The proper tea was fantastic and the feel of the cafe is cosy. We will... More

Freshly cooked breakfast using quality ingredients. Fresh tea leaves in pots a nice touch. The service was both welcoming and relaxed.

This venue is right on the canal and makes use of the wonderful old Stone Building owned by the K&A Canal Trust I believe. The setting is just ideal for coffee, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. It's not part of a chain and the staff are very welcoming and helpful and the food is good too.
