We booked late and 9 of us fitted in the old part of the pub for a fantastic family Sunday lunch at the carvery. Great food followed by some sumptuous desserts (for those of us with room!).

We visited here while on holiday. I can not praise them enough. I LOVED coming here for a meal. Due to breastfeeding my son who has allergies, I can not eat and dairy or soya - I asked if this would be a problem and it wasn't. They suggested I decide on a couple of meals I'd want and then... More

We were pitched across the road on Putts corner, the hare & hounds was our local. The food and drinks and company was very good. I recommend this pub, especially the carvery.

We stopped here to meet our friends for our onward journey. Nice big pub with large car park and garden. We stayed in to eat- I had a Caesar salad- far too much dressing, made my mouth burn so couldn't eat all of it but otherwise it was nice! All other meals were enjoyed by all.

My parents and I are regular visitors here and do love the place. We did call here on Good Friday (of course we had to book) and obviously this is a very busy time. I had the Carvery, my Mum had the vegetable burrito and my Dad had the turkey curry. We did have to wait 45 minutes as for... More

We had driven past here a number of times and always threatened to visit, finally we did so on Wednesday evening 12th April, booked a table here for 19.00, there were 4 adults, 1 child a baby in a buggy and 2 small dogs. Dogs are permitted in certain parts of the pub/restaurant think that is why we were at... More

We were staying at a local campsite and walked pass this place on Mothers Day, the car park was packed as you'd expect and we decided to return mid week on a quieter day. When we did it was much quieter and with multiple tables to choose from. The menu was restricted as there was no carvery just a pretty... More

Where to begin? The superlatives just keep coming! We booked in advance and were welcomed warmly on arrival. Our table was well appointed in a bay window with lovely views across garden and countryside. The kids in the play area looked really happy and a joy to see. Would definitely recommend the "Suicider" a crisp, medium cider but at 8%... More
