Quaint shabby chic Portugese restaurant. Small and cosy family run place, difficult to get into as there are not many tables but don'tlet that put you off, its worth trying. The food is very good, personally i thought the startets were limited and a little overpriced but the main courses are very reasonable and generous. Meat is cooked well and... More

I visited during a col Wednesday evening and arrived just as others had left, so I had the restaurant to my self. I had the home made pate which was great, olives and possible mackerel. Followed by the tune steak, which wS wonderful, all washed down with the Portuguese house wine. Only reason not 5 stars was that I was... More

Substantial menu, but some items need ordering 48 hours in advance. The meal could best be desribed as decent quality home-style cooking, as opposed to Portuguese style restauruant dining. The food was fine, but not exciting. Baia de Cascais is more of a pavement cafe/bar than a restaurant proper, but we would return for casual dining if we wanted something... More

Discovered almost by chance near Peacock sale rooms, this goes down as a very happy discovery. Giant breakfasts and wide range of Portugese dinner options discussed in other reviews, we were there for at lunchtime - choose from a range of one plate options plus a glass of wine for £6.50. Our pork and chicken choices came with rice and... More

My friends and I love coming here for breakfast at the weekend. All the meat in the huge breakfasts are fresh and there's a great range of foods to try. I would highly recommend the food here if you are in a small group. Unfortunately the service is quite slow and the waiters may forget a few drinks if you... More

Have eaten here on multiple occasions. Probably bedfords most welcoming restaurant owner who prides himself on making his his guests comfortable. Food always superb and flavoursome. Pork Belly and chips to die for and great beers on tap.

Visited this restaurant after reading the reviews and was extremely disappointed. I am not a fussy eater and dont often complain but this was the worst meal out i have ever had. The olives were too salty, the pasta tasteless, the meat, dry and burnt, the rice and chips awful. Nothing was enjoyable.
