This was fantastic! A proper fry up. Eggs made to my liking which were perfect. Big fat sausage, crispy bacon and best of all proper fried mushrooms. This was delicious. All washed down with a ginger bread latte. Service was fantastic. I will be back!!!!
The Old Hall café really is a hidden gem, situated on the site of a local primary school it really is the hub of the community. the Old hall café have implimented excellent social distancing measures from sanitising stations and track and trace facilities to...placement of tables and chairs, i really felt comfortable and safe dining here today. Steve and his wonderful team never disapoint, no matter how busy they are! The café not only serves the public but also does an outstanding job of cooking all the school meals whilst also providing outside catering for amny local businesses and private functions. Nowhere else will you find a quality meal at such a reasonable price. The café has just recently undergone rerurbishment with a lovely new colour scheme and tableware, it is fresh, vibrant and inviting as always! Whether you want a quick brew or a sit down meal The Old Hall Café is the place to be, everyone is welcome from far and wide. The ladies and gents here are always there with welcoming smile. Well loved and respected by the community for many, many years and many more to come. I haven't met anyone with a bad word to say about the café and that just goes to show what a sterling job these guys do. The standard of cleanliness and hygiene is always impeccable which makes a welcome change to most eating establishments in the area.More
With a name like Old Hall Cafe we expected an old building but this café is in a community hall attached to a school. It was difficult to find without Sat nav. and it's a canteen atmosphere. Having said that we had a delicious coffee...and a tasty bacon sandwich each. The food was served with a smile and the cost only £7.More
A really nice place to eat. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty and there was a good choice. I asked the server to check the bill because it was so cheap I thought she had missed off some food. We had...a variety of sandwiches and baguettes and the portions were very generous.More
Stopped on the way up to Scotland from Cheshire, a great find. We obviously called at a quiet time, very wet Monday morning 9:30, so we were only customers. That said we got a really warm welcome, two great breakfasts, toast, two coffees, £8!!! Amazing.
