The beef was a bit too well done for my liking, also the portions they serve you are just far too big. But staff are polite and friendly

Four of us plus my 8 month old little boy went in straight from sorting sheep in the auction next door. Food was all good, prawn salad was excellent. The staff suggested a 'baby bowl' for the wee man and brought out a bowl of...mash, carrots, peas and gravy which went down a treat and cost all of £1!More

Visited unexpectedly whilst heading south following a holiday to Scotland. It was around 7pm on the first Monday of Eat Out to Help Out and called in after seeing it on tripadvisor. We ordered scampi and chips and chicken tikka masala with some drinks. Service...was super friendly and very speedy - our food was with us in no time, which is what we needed. The scampi was a huge plate full of scampi, with a side salad and carrots, with a separate tray of chips, and the tikka masala was a decent plate of curry rice, peas and 2 mini naans. All the food was tasty and we were stuffed, which is a shame as the desserts looked lovely. You have to get past the 90’s decor and the drive through an industrial park to get to it, but the food is worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for a quick, hearty meal. Cost around £30 for 6 drinks and 4 mains thanks to the 50% off, but even without the discount, it’s definitely great value for money and we’ll be keeping it in mind for if we’re passing and in need of food during future tripsMore
