A small pub, always packed and not much room between tables, but what do you expect when the local seafood options are so good, and the local beers are on tap. Excellent place to visit, really feels like a proper pub and I would definitely recommend, The mussels are amazing!

A proper pub but with an above average fish menu, beautifully cooked, with plenty of vegetables and reasonably priced. Lovely staff, thanks for the Birthday card!

Superb food and real ales served in this lovely old pub. We opted for the squid and plaice which was all cooked to perfection. My only criticism would be if you are a vegetarian or don't like seafood the menu is extremely limited. If you love your fish then I would thoroughly recommend.

This is a good pub with a number of good bees and an excellent fish based menu. We had which was a good sized portion and very tasty. My partner had the fish pie which was also declared to be tasty with a cheesy topping, albeit there was much too much potato. I had the smoked haddock pie which was... More

Regularly use this pub/restaurant on our trips to Poole. Always good food especially the sea food chowder. Must book in the summer as seating is limited.

After watching our football team playing Poole Town FC we visited this Pub/Restaurant in the evening as we had booked a hotel for the night. We searched on TripAdvisor for good places to go and as our friends love seafood we thought we would try this pub as it had so many good reviews. We are about to add another... More

Unpretentious, good food, good value, friendly, efficient staff and real old pub atmosphere. What more could you want. Never seen boquerones or Gambas Pil-Pil on a British menu before. Terrific and the Spanish eating there clearly agreed !

Super old fashioned pub on Poole Quay; the oldest I believe. Sea food/fish straight off the Quay it was superb. Loved our lunch the food was well presented, well cooked and plenty of it. Would not hesitate to visit again
