Great pub, one our locals. Friendly helpful staff. Relaxing atmosphere. If you want anything, just ask.

We've visited The Cow a few times now and have found it to be a lovely pub for a lunch with friends. It's also dog friendly, which is a real bonus as so few venues in the area seem to welcome dogs. The menu is nice and has a good selection of food for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The... More

Foods got worse and worse with years, they don't care about customers anymore.Disabled toilet is locked with no key, zero help from staff related to that. Our meal was served within 50-60 minutes, however pub was not busy. The worst Sunday roast i had in my life sorry. After 6 years we are not going back now in the future.

Got off the train. Needed a beer. Had one. Then two more then grabbed a table and had some food. Such fun. Good food.

My wife and I took our daughter, her partner and our 6 year old grandson for a meal to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Being pensioners we are not able to afford to eat at 'posh' establishments so chose The Cow which appears from the outside to be an ordinary town pub. Inside however is different. The array of reasonably priced... More

The 3 stars are purely for the food and the one waitress. We reserved our table, 8 of us. Lack of table service, on my arrival I had waited 20 minutes for a drink, then to wait another 10mins to have to ask yet again where my drink was. No check up on how we were during our meals, or... More

What's not to love about the Cow? They have a patio where you can watch the traffic go by on Station Road and a deck where you can watch the trains go through Parkstone Station. You can also sit inside, out of the rain. Good selection of ales and typical pub fare.

Good location and a fine selection of drinks in convivial atmosphere with outside seating. Can get very busy and a bit noisy as well.

8 of us booked here on Easter Monday for my son's birthday. After waiting over an hour for the ''meals'' to be served, we found the buns were burned, the batter was burned and the offerings inside the burned batter were minuscule and impossible to tell what it was by sight or taste. The Caesar salad was edible and my... More
