The Mrs has the pancakes with bacon and I usually have the standard breakfast with a couple of coffee's it weighs in at about £8. Clean and hot and fairly quick, nothing to complain about.

We were out as a group of "lads" that are not really "lads" and quite enjoy a spa day! Wetherspoons is always a good starting point, that said, this place you used to stick to the floor!! We were so impressed when we stepped inside, the refit is amazing, beer was good and such a selection of ales! If we'd... More

I suppose if you go into a Wetherspoon you know what you are going to get, but staff who notice who needs serving next (this was on quiet Monday night) when you order food it would be nice for it to be available (4 people ordered 4 different meals, and none of our 1st choices were available) If you order... Often eat at various wetherspoons during the day as travel a lot through work never had an inedible meal in fact quite the opposite v good value and food where ever I've been. Then there's always the exception and this wetherspoons is that exception, chicken so tough unable to cut through it , chips cold and soggy , a cheese... More

The usual wetherspoon fare was served in a timely manner, good value for money and reasonable portions.

Guessing that most people have been to a Wetherspoon establishment, you must already know that you'll get food, beer and wine at an extremely low price. Yes, cheap and very cheerful. But I personally feel you get more than what you pay for. A pint, stake, 2 eggs and chips for £8. Bargain. There's also a Wetherspoon pub in Stevenage... More

I don't know what's wrong with this place, they can never get it right. I live locally so I come down from time to time, but I have had to send my food back on every occasion except one. Ok, I realise you get what you pay for, but more often than not, the food is either raw or burnt.... More

After John, the Manager's request to give them another try, we went for lunch today. No sticky tables or menus and no grubby aprons! Fish and chips was lovely and very reasonable. Love the areas outside too. We'll be back. So nice to find a responsive Manager, who gets things done.
