The place is actually spelt Isaac - see your photo! A great venue in an original merchants house on the waterfront. The building is a warren, with many rooms, some beautiful features from the original building, as well as having historical information. The service was good - very friendly, and the coffee was delicious - just a shame that the... More

Went to Issac's last weekend Location on the Quay is good, drinks are at the top end of the price range and so is the food, menu is what you would expect from a bistro type place but prices are high in comparison to other eateries in the area Service was poor, place an order for 3 sharing items and... Ate and drank a pint in this bar April 2017 Full of very noisy students that should have been kicked out but the staff weren't bothered (perhaps their friends) Food was over priced Beer was poor despite it being from a local brewery. Not going back

Out with friends, and have been here many times before, but not to eat Food was surprisingly good, and not expensive. Yes, it's pub food but was reasonably priced, tasty, and served hot! My only gripe about Isaacs is they have to serve drinks in plastic glasses, and it's about time they sorted this All said a nice evening out,... More

Don't live in Ipswich but every time we visit our friends we come here. Been here with a friend, in a group, girls night and been great on all those occasions. Love the massive outdoor space on a hot summers night. Music good, like the décor. Never seen any trouble. Relaxed atmosphere

A venue that provides a relaxed atmosphere for all ages. Peaceful mornings overlooking the marina and lively evenings with live music or televised sport. The food is good quality 'pub grub' and the staff welcoming. I'm a regular visitor to Isaacs and would recommend it to anyone.

Very busy at all times of day and evening, very popular for coffee, a drink or a meal or a place to meet friends. We has a very nice simple, well cooked plain meal. Would certainly return.

Order and have waited more than a hour for my food . No member of staff have said there was a wait on food . Other tables which arrived after us have had food and left ..... thinking of snacking on their scrapes !

During our trip to Ipswich last week. We had a small lunchtime family gathering. As we were staying near the waterfront, a quick look online made Issacs seem a good choice as it has plenty of seating, both inside and outside and on different levels, a main menu with a wide range of dishes to suit most tastes and a... Good Staff, attentive and courteous. All drinks arrived in plastic Glasses? Sorry, Ale in plastic not nice. Food was OK and our group didnt leave much. we sat at a table where a finished dessert plate sat a good while, and then was asked twice whilst still eating if we were finished. Multi layered confusing layout, probably really much nicer... More
